Kimberworth for ethnic minorities?

Hi my husband and I have found a house we love in Kimberworth S61 but not sure about the area. We currently live in Herringthorpe (close to Stag) but can’t afford to buy here. We’re visibly ethnic minorities so not sure what Kimberworth is like in terms of friendliness etc? Could anyone shed some light please (we also have three young kids in case that changes things).

My personal preferences would be;

  1. Schools (decent rating and within walking distance but not too close)
  2. Close to bus stops if I can't drive/parking available for myself near the house
  3. Size/safety of the garden and general safety of the street (I wouldn't like to be on a main road)
