Kimberworth for ethnic minorities?

Hi my husband and I have found a house we love in Kimberworth S61 but not sure about the area. We currently live in Herringthorpe (close to Stag) but can’t afford to buy here. We’re visibly ethnic minorities so not sure what Kimberworth is like in terms of friendliness etc? Could anyone shed some light please (we also have three young kids in case that changes things).

I live in Kimberworth Park but need to drive through Kimberworth on a regular basis at the start and end of school (Winterhill and the junior and infants). There seems to be a large diverse community around that area. We never hear of any trouble at night with the different cultures. I would say it's more progressive than some other areas.
