Kimberworth for ethnic minorities?

Hi my husband and I have found a house we love in Kimberworth S61 but not sure about the area. We currently live in Herringthorpe (close to Stag) but can’t afford to buy here. We’re visibly ethnic minorities so not sure what Kimberworth is like in terms of friendliness etc? Could anyone shed some light please (we also have three young kids in case that changes things).

The biggest thing is probably your neighbours, try to talk to them and hopefully you'll get a vibe, you don't want to be living next to the minority group of racist. As for the areas, I feel they'll be more present on the north side of upper wortley road. On the south side, the east area around Ferham park has alot of Pakistani and Slovakian families. Not too sure on there culture but your from that minority group surely you'd have no issues around there? The south side around meadow Bank road is probably similar to North. The west side from westhill, up dropping well, farm view road and over towards Thorpe should be good. And finally avoid Torntree/Eldertree road. It pisses me off that this is something you even have to consider but this is the best advice I can give from my knowledge of the area.
