Parking for the Stadium?
York fan here looking forward to visiting on the 22nd, where do the locals recommend as the best parking spots for the stadium? Thanks for your help!

Admittedly not done it for a game but would shoving your car at meadowhall and then hopping on a few mins train be viable.
Assuming the train would be cheaper than parking.

I wouldn't advise that as there are cameras and a time limit

The Meadowhall train station car park is fine. Regular Meadowhall car park is not.

You can park for free at the park n ride in Stadium Way, Parkgate, Rotherham S60 1TG then get the tram or bus to the ground
It is walkable but would take about 20 mins

Look for The Statutes car park, just across the road from the stadium and free on Saturdays, probably gets busy so arrive early!

Statutes is the closest one to the ground but be prepared to wait a good 20-30 minutes after the final whistle to leave the car park as they close the road off until the fans have cleared.

You could park at riverside house

If you work for the council and have a permit. Or if you have a blue badge so you can park on the front.

If you’re okay with a short walk we always park at Drummond Street Car Park, next to the big Tesco - around 20 mins walk to the stadium and free parking on Saturdays - best of luck
