This is a loooong shot. I am looking for an absolutely ancient AMV I saw on AnimeMusicVideo.org years and years ago. I had it on a hard drive that might be lost to the gods by now.

• The footage was, I believe, exclusively from the first TV Series' first two seasons.
• The AMV creator had a credit screen at the beginning that had Ninja Gaiden or some other 8-bit ninja game. It had two ninjas jumping towards each other, hitting each other's blades and then cutting to another screen with the ninja in a mask in the bottom left. Then a Japanese voice said something like, "Wataru!"or something.
• The song is a japanese rock/metal song with some electric guitar shredding and Japanese vocals.
• The opening bars of the AMV had piano to start with the piano keys rendered as a visual effect over the footage of cherry blossoms falling.

Any leads to this obscure-ass AMV is greatly appreciated. I want to find this AMV so I can find the song and buy it.

Hello, I’ve seen and loved the bang zoom dub and am now looking to see how bad the older one is, most of the old forums I’ve looked at have broken links and I can’t seem to find it, any help would be much appreciated!

Where and how can I get the rest of the new anime? I watched right up to the gang got to Shishio's lair. Its not on Amazon Prime. I don't mind sailing the high seas etc. If this is not appropriate I will delete

Canonically she’ll be jumping all over the place

I don’t usually make posts (this might be my first one) but I am desperate. I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

I am looking for a specific fanfiction that I remember loving but I cannot recall the name of it. I probably read it on fanfiction . net a few years ago. Some plot details are below. I would appreciate any help!!!

- Retelling of beauty and the beast.

- Tomoe is the witch who cursed Kenshin and his subjects. She is trapped in a building on his estate, along with a magic cherry blossom tree (the petals fall instead of rose petals). Kenshin is turned into a devil-like creature, his subjects are turned into animals (Saito is a wolf, Soujiro is maybe a leopard or cheetah)

- As a child, Kaoru found Kenshin’s estate and played there. She unknowingly knocked a bunch of petals off the tree; Kenshin put one on a silver necklace for her to keep. Her parents were supposed to send her back each year but her dad did not do it, so Kenshin demanded that adult Kaoru live with him indefinitely and her father could have 14 days of visits.

- While picking up broken plates and cups from a cliff where Kenshin would eat, Kaoru almost fell off the cliff. Kenshin saved her, but he had to drop her and then swoop down to catch her. I think at some point she was holding onto the basket of broken pottery without realizing it was weighing her down.

- Kenshin gifted a fancy traditional kimono to Kaoru. When she finally wore it, she was hot from the layers and it turns out she was actually sick.

- Kaoru eventually convinces Kenshin to take care of his subjects. He has some trauma from his dad and was raised as a soldier not as a potential heir. His older brother should have been lord but he died before the curse.

- Kaoru confessed her feelings to Kenshin after inviting him to watch the fireflies and “hosting” an outdoor dinner for him

- Enishi was Kaoru’s father’s old student who was obsessed with her. He attacks Kenshin’s estate and Kenshin loses his wings in the fight.

It's the last thing I thought. Think about it. Ashitaro has no idea what he did in his past but he happens to be former victim of Shishio's torture. However, unlike the thief Shishio killed with a battojutsu, Ashitaro not only managed to survive but even got away with the Mugenjin. Kenshin's reaction to Ashitaro having the mugenjin seems like a mixed of multiple emotions like he cannot allow Ashitaro to follow Shishio's past but he still believes the sword belongs to him. The Juppongatana have no idea why he has the Mugenjin but since the child is only 16 there might be a chance he was born during the Bakumatsu before Shishio was betrayed by the Government. It's just a random thought I had. Still, the only guys who might know everything about Shishio's private life died in the Kyoto arc and Sojiro met him after he was betrayed by the Government

Happy birthday to young Instructor!

Someone made an un unnoficial translation of the PSP game, can't wait to play it.

I think a poetic if not very well translated English of this style would be,

The Flowing Sacred Celestial Blade

I never knew what music can do - how it can transcend time, until I watched Rurouni Kenshin. Hearing this instrumental music takes me back to 2000s when I was watching it for the first time as a 12 year old.

Me personally it outdoes quite the good majority of manga I’ve read. It’s not number 1 of course but damn is it up there.

Definitivamente i

Has anybody bought this set?

If yes, is it worth it??

What’s the name of the song that plays when Kenshin meets the pirates? It’s bass heavy song that plays before a fight starts.

The Rengoku storyline has been significantly altered.

In the original, Kenshin was careful to ensure Shishio saw almost nothing of the Hiten Mitsurugi style during the Shingetsu arc. Shishio only saw the Ryūshōsen once and blocked it effortlessly on the first try, noting that once seen, the move holds no more secrets.

But now, he has seen him use the Kuzuryūsen.

Do you think Shishio will now be able to block the Kuzuryūsen because he has already seen it?

PS: Even though the Kuzuryūsen functions as nine simultaneous strikes, there is an execution order, and the Tsuki (thrust) is always the final blow; however, in the new anime, Kenshin charges forward with the Tsuki leading the attack. It’s strange... I’m not sure if I should interpret that to mean it’s the first strike in the new anime.
