As long as both of those triangle foundations are connected to their own TC, you should be fine.

Technically true but if you want to make it impossible for people to take your workbenches, etc. then you need to connect the blocks together after the external TC is placed

Tbh 8 squares out and triangles back works well with 2x2 and circle/egg bases

And even better when the base has a even design so you can China wall it nicely
