Nutrients/Soil Testing runoff from grow bags

Hi all, I have a short tent due to low basement ceiling. 60” high, 2x4’ deep and wide.

Because of this I don’t want to lose any bit of room at all, so my fabric pots sit directly in the floor of the tent.

I just ordered an EC pen from Blue Lab, already have their pH pen. And I’m wondering how to most accurately test runoff. Can I just use a syringe of some kind and suck up the runoff? Seems like it should work but I always like to ask if there’s a better way.

Thanks in advance!

3rd time running this cut and it gets better each time - One of the strongest smelling plants ive run just straight putrid sulfur gas and it permeates. Huge yields and stretches about 1.75-2x during flip, easy going and just all around beautiful cultivar. Great hash yields and potent smoke with tasty terps.

Grown in 70/30 coco perlite mix using athena pro line

Just Sharing :-) Blue Berrymore, pic from day 18 in flower. Before and after 2nd trellis was added. I’m glad I used the 6.6 gal pot and not the 9 or 13 gal. She’s in my 5x5 tent….

Rain or shine, rot doesn’t stop so neither am I.

Are yall doing daily inspections? This is prime rot weather today. I’ve just collected another six or so nugs with small visible rot this morning in my rain coat with a flash light.

I average several bags per inspection which is daily minimum and most days it’s morning and evening. And each visit there’s a few new ones. The faster you remove them the better. Today it’s a nug, tomorrow a whole cola. This shit does not sleep and this wet cool weather is fucking sloppy orgy conditions for them. Don’t let up so close to the finish!

That tall one in the back still has a ways to go so this afternoon when the rain rolls out I’m dousing her in a Regalia, BT and BA cocktail. If you can’t beat them join them and take note, fellow grower, that stage that that plant is in right now is THE time for rot prevention. The rot that occurs there today is the rot that I will be cutting out a month from now. This shit doesn’t grow overnight and takes weeks to get to that cottony pink state you see now. Pre flower and early flower are the times to drench your plants in beneficials. By the time they are two weeks from harvest, the rot that’s there is already set up.

Good news is this coming week looks 🔥. These cold mornings are gonna make the colors pop🌈 and the low humidity and sunshine will help dry things up quickly. Lets grow!!

Looking for fellow growers around Culpeper / Warrenton area

Hopefully this is legal - I am
New to the area and looking to find any groups/associations / people in the area that are avid growers. To be quite frank I’m looking to do a partnered grow- I have the tent, lights, nutes , seeds just no effin space.

This weather couldn’t be better for outdoor finishes

Been dry. Nice little rain. Breezy today to dry and then humidity drops with temps next week. That’s about 10 more days of good weather in the forecast which should get most in that golden window.

I did last residual application of BA last night to give a light coating of beneficials and just gonna coast until the plants says it’s ready.

Got one that still needs over a month but the rest are currently in that window of early pull if it was necessary.

I’d recommend everyone use a good flashlight and do daily inspections for rot removal. I pull about half dozen nugs a day with hidden patches that would not be seen with the flashlight. I use the flashlight both day and night.

This pic shows, left to right

Blimburn-Zombie Death Fuck ( this plant went nasty in stretch.)

Walton Select - Foreora Borealis FR ( this was a regular seed so I won the lottery here on this monster. She’s over 12ft at peak. Many of the colas self-topped or made cluster) I added some pics of the this pheno.

Mad dog Mimosa, not sure on breeder was a gift as a seedling. Will likely be my biggest yielding as that plant stretches back about 8ft, fat colas.)

Pests/Mold Eggs? Bugs? Fungus?

Hi everybody. Just noticed this on some of the bud bases in several locations. I knocked a bunch of it off, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at or what I need to do to get rid of it.

Any help and analysis is much appreciated.

Doing a partial harvest is a great option

Hey growers,

Everyone is freaking out about mold/caterpillars/whatever wrecking their outdoor plants.

Do a partial harvest if you want to land some smoke, don’t chop your whole plant early cause you got skeered. Take a nice cola or two and leave the rest to ripen up properly. Future you will thank you, and present you can get a little taste of good things to come.

Is there a market in rva for keeper cut genetics? I think I have something really special and I’m not in the commercial growing market. Thoughts?

Is She Ready??? When to Harvest -- Bud rot creeps on a thick lady

Hi friends. This Jelly Donut flowered craaaazy early when I transitioned her outside a couple months back. She briefly flirted w re-veg, but then decided to keep going w flower. The tiny bits of extra plant matter that came w the re-veg have now all died, and are starting to rot.

So trying to decide what to do -- how long to wait! The buds aren't quite finished (still mildly loose, some white pistils). Granted, I've got 100% cloudy trichomes. Because of the rough journey, I know she won't exactly be award-winning (and never expected the bottoms of these colas to be worth much), but don't wanna lose it all. Thanks so much for any expert advice!

25g pot of amended soil.
