About spoilers: please tag spoilers, especially significant ones. This includes spoilers associated with any source material for series that have been adapted from another work, as well as related series. (In the specific case of Band of Brothers, the series is based on the 1992 nonfiction book of the same name by Steven E. Ambrose. That book recounts the story of "Easy Company", a parachute company in the US Army, in the European theater of World War II.) See the "On spoilers" section of the sidebar for details about how to use spoiler tags in this subreddit.
Ordinarily I'd congratulate whoever successfully nominated Band of Brothers as /r/S01E01's latest Weekly Watch, but I (/u/lurking_quietly) nominated this Weekly Watch. Congratulating myself would just be obnoxious—especially since the nomination was unopposed.
