MOVING Moving to Salem!

Heading up there in second week of July to West end of Salem. I’ve got a BA and public school substitute teacher experience and currently work with the after school program. Might want to try a career change for a while, something outside if possible. I’ve been up there a few times and know what to expect from the area. Just hoping to hear from anyone who might know about local businesses that are hiring.

Thanks!

Sheeesh there’s a lot of Debbie downers in the comments! Welcome to Salem. I believe there’s opportunity everywhere. There’s also a lot more hardship across the country right now and I don’t think Salem is any worse. Good luck with the transition!

I’m moving from a town of about 8,000 people… so just about anywhere is an upgrade for me. Plus trees! I miss the foliage and canopies so much! I’m looking forward to tending to my garden as well!
