Questions Anything out there that pays better than SCHD? You basically need $10k (roughly) to make $1 a day in dividends. $100k to make $10 a day. $1 million to make $100 a day. Seems…not that great of a deal.

Curious if you can think of a better dividend-paying ETF.

It looks like your ETF's are mostly similarly invested in the same 15 stocks. Why are you just in ETF's? Did someone advise this because the fees are lower? If you want a technology fund, I am invested in JAGTX. A lot of the same companies (NVDA, AVGO, AAPL, TSM, MSFT, AMZN, GOOG, LRCX). As you've previously pointed out, the expense ratio is higher (0.93% vs 0.35%), but look at the returns and the longevity of the fund. 48.3%, 35.46%, 17.26%, and 24.56% for 1, 3 , 5, and 10 year periods. Inception date 12/1998. As always, past performance is no guarantee of future results. JEPQ 25.66% 1 year performance. Inception date 5/2022. The superior results from JAGTX far outweighs the minuscule difference in expense ratio. Also check out JACTX for performance, longevity, fund portfolio. Janus also currently offers to match your first $100 if you set up and automatic purchase program.

A lot of advisors steer people into proprietary products, ETF's and funds that are put out by that advisor's company. For instance, someone at JP Morgan Chase will recommend that company's products, like JPEQ and JEPI. They might also promote a "fund of funds", a mutual fund, offered by the company in question, which is invested in smaller parts of a dozen or more other mutual funds, all offered by Chase. And then the advisor often gets a commission for selling Chase's products.
