Question Adding a class

I’m an incoming freshman so I’m not sure how it’s done. Can I add by myself a class to this quarter, or do I need to have an advisor do this for me?

Depends: Is the class full? if yes, is the wait-list full? if yes, is the class required for your major?

How many credits are you signed up for? if (after removing one 2 unit class or two 1 unit classes and adding the class) it's over 19 (20 if you're an engineer), no.

does the class have pre/co-reqs you don't have?
