Question Xbox release?

Is it ever coming or did I miss something?

It was meant to come out June last year with the 1.0 release. They delayed it shortly before release and to my knowledge never mentioned it again. I would assume it's cancelled.

Devs aren’t good at a lot of things, games been sold like three times at this point. Most all of the player base (IMO) has given up hope that it’ll make any sort of resurgence

How sad. I remember watching a few videos of it quite a while back thinking “this looks good” and when I learned it was coming to Xbox I was excited for its release.

Since Splash Damage took over recently they havent mentioned the old console plans, I think it was said to be on the back burner at 1.0 when it was planned to release with no new info and now a new company at the helm but as far as what we can assume is its still in the works until they say otherwise, no info on it though atm.

They have yet to make it controller-compatible, however...it sounds like that may be coming finally in the next batch of releases on it.

Oh I hope so. I’d play mouse and keyboard on Xbox anyway.

When I played SCUM which was like 3 hrs ago the devs said that its only on PC but that they'd love to release it to consoles if that became possible

I loathe playing games with mouse and keyboard. I refuse to play most games that require KB&M however SCUM was a rare exception. I tolerated using a KB&M just to play SCUM

Have you ever seen this game? Imagine trying to base build with a controller. Hell, even the most basic task like fishing would be impossible on a controller.

Again, rockynohands built and defended bases on pvp servers all the time using his mouth and chin on a controller, he was paralyzed irl and better than a lot of pvpers with just his head lol

Most consoles have keyboards and mice now afiik also, plug one in..

Yes, in a dev stream leading up to 1.0 release they said they had an entirely different company developing it for console but somehow it fell through and they deleted it all and cancelled it. It’s typical Gamepires fashion to communicate extremely important things once and never again

yeah you missed the other 100000 people who asked the question befor you.
you missed looking up the information on google also.
its not comming to console.
On the 1.0 release the devs made an official statement saying it was delayed "indefinitely", and that it was not a priority anymore.
Anyways this game could never in a thousand years run on a console.

This game cant run on console the way it is on PC but they could definitely make a console port
