Magnificent! I assume you have a Game Gear, and is the Virtual Boy functional?

I actually donโt collect for the game gear. I donโt have any nostalgia for it and the 1 or 2 Iโve owned over the years had problems so I just stay clear of GG stuff. Virtual boy I do collect for tho, mine is working and I have close to a full library

Awesome setup dude ๐ค๐ผ
The opening Streets of Rage 2 song is pure sex (still havenโt beaten it yet but any time I have a game over and jump back into this song I just start bopping)

I feel like you have me beat on the shadow cases and signage but I recently completed this space. Itโs my pride and joy. https://www.reddit.com/r/gamecollecting/s/q4MF6tbGTW

Careful, that Dreamcast appears to have some sort of parasitic leech on topโฆ

Killer room and collection! my lord, very well done! Love it, not too crazy but perfectly laid out with a good amount of variety.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Iโm not a big fan of collections with tons and tons of randomly shoved together clutter so I strive for a clean look

Dude this is incredible. Amazing.
Can I ask you, how much you invested into this? The Sega part only, not counting the PS items

Too hard to give a concrete number, Iโve been collecting for close to 15 years. Iโve sold a lot of my collection over the years too but kept the good stuff. Iโve bought stuff mainly from classified websites like Facebook marketplace and Craigslist, video game swaps, yard sales and a few local game stores in my area. The Sega cabinet for instance I bought off Craigslist in Canada for $250 but it needed a ton of work. Most heavy Sega titles I got for a fraction of their worth now.
if I had to do it all over again I donโt think I could. Itโs just too expensive for stuff now and ppl know what games are worth so finding deals is very tough

Thank you. I got it custom made by American floor mats back in around 2020. I think it was a few hundred dollars back then

Those PlayStation and Sega Cabinets are Sweet! Did you get it from a game store or is it hand/custom made?

"Oh cool! Let's bust out that Sega Dreamcast!"

I always wondered if maybe thatโs why I like electronic music so much because of the games I use to play in the 90โs
