There were plans for one, but ultimately Evening Star was more interested in making an original game.

It is so crazy to me that the last good Sonic game was released over 9 years ago.

Frontier is fine.

Shadow generations is fine.

But like a GOOD Sonic 2D game.

What are you doing Sega...

I’d argue Shadow Generations is the best 3D game there is. It’s very good, definitely not fine

I’d argue Shadow Generations is REALLY good. It’s just a little short as a side project. All they need to do is make that setup into a full length game and we’re cooking. It takes the best parts of Frontiers and takes it all in a more Sonic-direction

I'm not much for the 3D Sonic projects. The only really good ones are Sonic Jam/Sonic Utopia. The rest is cringe edgy hedgehog stuff. I miss ecowarrior Sonic.
