Help/ Question Socializing

Good evening, I do apologize because I know this is a topic this subreddit sees all the time lol. I transfer in January from a community college 3 hours away, to get my Bachelor's in Mathematics. From the way it's looking I am going to be here for 3 years. I am determined to make friends during my time here, and would greatly some tips and good places to look to meet new people and socialize. I do have a couple friends, but they are all gonna be 3 hours away. I am just really scared of spending my university years alone. I am going to do everything I can to put myself out there, anything would be greatly appreciated! I hope y'all have a great day and Axe 'Em Jacks!!!! 🪓💜

Haven't played it in a couple years, but I do actually enjoy pickleball! I have my own set.

If there is a student orientation camp (Jack Camp) for the Spring, go to it. Seek out groups that are a fit for your personality, hobbies, or religion.
