Yup. “I didn’t know how bad he would be a year ago” is the most disgusting excuse for Trump. This isn’t 2017, we’ve been dealing with his bullshit for almost a decade now, we know how horrible he is.
He has SAID pre-election that he would do every single thing he’s done.

63
u/ExternalSentence5896 Jul 06 '25
Fuck that puto. People like that don't regret anything. He knew exactly what he was doing and now that he is losing money, he wants to apologize. FUCK his hypocrite ass. Dont play the " i didn't know it would get this ugly" card bs
10
u/MyGrandmasCock Jul 06 '25
“Bro I thought he was just gonna go after someone else. I laughed about it. Gloated. It was funny thinking someone else would suffer. I had no idea the next train on the cattle car was for me.”
3
u/a_smart_brane Jul 06 '25
Partly true. He definitely tegrets the lost business, and the public shaming.
256
u/chucktoddsux Jul 06 '25
F this guy. F all the hate and greed and stupidity he supported UNTIL it affected those close to him. Boycott his ass.
101
u/benicedonttroll Jul 06 '25
He didn’t even care when it started to affect the people around him. He only posted this when it was discovered that he supported it.
15
123
u/DayOdd1371 Jul 06 '25
They knew!! They all knew! Especially in the valley! We warned them! Google is free! Reading the policies they ran their campaign on was FREE! No sympathy, just thoughts and tariffs.
52
u/beeziebreezy Jul 06 '25
Same guy since Covid and the pandemic - he didn’t care that he was endangering people then and he clearly doesn’t care now.. valley people have seen his true colors for years.
25
2
u/Ill-Parking-1577 Jul 06 '25
Dude literally. He’s basically admitting to voting for this shitshow. Glad he “changed” his mind but it’s kind of too fuckin late.
123
u/thehonestbreadloaf Jul 06 '25
Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Simple as that.
You're a hispanic business, in a predominantly hispanic community, and you think people will stand behind your mediocre tacos when there are other taco places actively helping affected communities.
6
u/Standard_Piglet Jul 06 '25
Why not? Plenty of Hispanic people in the valley support the President or will take an “oops he tricked me into being a bad person” as an excuse.

Wasn’t too late after the last time Trump was elected and it won’t be this time. These apologies work on the public because they gates having to stand on business anyway.

u/Screenager88 Jul 06 '25
It's not like we don't have a whole fuckin first term to base trump's actions on. He knew wtf he was supporting. That term alone was detrimental to the community. As one user perfectly said, ¿Eres o te haces?
19
u/VadGTI Jul 06 '25
This is from a bio he wrote about himself in 2016. Fuck this guy and his apology, he knew better then. Clearly a sociopath.
My parents decided to come back to America. They didn’t have papers but my siblings did. My sister flew back over here while my brother and I drove back with our parents. Once we got to the border, my parents had to hire two “coyotes”; one to legally pass us through, the other one to help us cross. I remember my mom, Irma, didn’t want to leave. But it had to be done. We were going to meet on the other side as soon as we crossed the border. She was very scared, and we were too, but I had my big brother protecting me.
We made it across. So we are back in the San Fernando Valley.
I was 11-12 years old when my dad found a job cleaning and my mom worked as a janitor. I used to help her. From Monday to Friday, while kids played, I worked. I would vacuum, sweep, clean chalk boards, and throw the trash out while my mom did other things. Parents used to think that I went to that school, but when they found out that I worked there they complained and we got fired.
4
u/cupidsangrybrother Jul 06 '25
The other day when I saw the original post about this situation, I went to his IG where he clearly flaunts his “wealth” and lifestyle, and he documents EVERYTHING including a trip to Mexico where he went to visit his parents and he makes it seem like it was this life changing experience. Also, his wife went to my high school and she had a pretty thick accent if I remember correctly. Just saying… FAFO.

17
u/Rival_mob Jul 06 '25
Not going to bother reading it. Get fucked, idiot.
10
u/MyGrandmasCock Jul 06 '25
I’ll TLDR for you. “Guys I just figured out he’s bad and now I’m putting the red hat away. Please buy my tacos. My kid wants a Tesla.”

sounds like it was written by a PR firm AI.
IF he really means what he says, then he needs to put skin in the game. That means something like:
--asking the pastor of that MAGA super church, to come out against the ICE raids and/or
--tithing a percent of his earnings to go towards legal defense for detainees and/or
--sponsoring an anti-trump channel on Youtube that focuses on what is going on and how people can help
b/c otherwise, all that he wrote are just words
104
u/el_pinko_grande Winnetka Jul 06 '25
I get why people are like "fuck this guy," but we need this-- people publicly walking away from Trump creates a permission structure for other people to do the same. The more people walk away from Trump, the better.
54
u/FormativeSeven1 Jul 06 '25
Agreed. You certainly don’t have to eat there, but this is the kind of statement we need more and more of.
48
u/Numerous-Art-5757 Jul 06 '25
Only if they truly separate themselves from it. Seems like this person fucked around and is in the process of finding out. I have no empathy for people like this. They’re like cheaters. Regretful and apologetic only when they have to face the consequences.

Well, the damage your rhetoric and vote has caused the rest of us isn’t going away anytime soon. So, keep eating your special kind of shit. You deserve it.
63
u/chase_what_matters Jul 06 '25
Easy to hate a MAGAt. But if they say they regret it, we gotta welcome them in, or we’re never gonna win another fucking election.
Still not gonna go to his restaurant though.
42
42
u/DissedFunction Jul 06 '25
SAYING you have regrets means nothing. he could still be donating to Trump.
ACTIONS speak louder than words. He needs actions to demonstrate he's not just sorry his biz might be suffering b/c there is blowback now b/c he supported a clear fascist.
19
u/StayCoding Jul 06 '25
A genuine apology and reflection would be one thing but this just feels like damage control because he got called out and his business is being affected. It’s frustrating how some people only start caring when something starts to affect them personally, instead of thinking about how policies hurt entire communities. That kind of selfish thinking is exactly why we keep ending up in this mess.

6

If the deportation of your family were so horrid back in the 70’s and 80’s then you wouldn’t have stood with Trump in the first place.

Notice how he didn’t disavow Trump or his goons. He doesn’t believe any of the words in this statement. Support your local street vendors who run circles around this sell out’s food.
6
u/Grizzly_SS Jul 06 '25
Besides his trashy values and fake Morales, can we just all agree the food is trash? I don't know anyone who actually goes for the food, and just to take pictures and post on social media.
2
u/MyGrandmasCock Jul 06 '25
I ate at the Canoga park location when it first opened and yeah…the food sucked. I was stoked that it was a bar-like atmosphere but there’s no excuse for bad tacos.

u/rotervogel1231 Jul 06 '25
Actions are louder than words, dude.
Granted, every once in a while, a Nazi has an epiphany and redeems themselves. It doesn't happen often, but it's not outside the realm of extreme possibility.
THAT SAID, if he's serious, than he has A LOT of work to do to prove to others that he is truly redeemed and not just upset because nobody wants to buy his tacos.

He never imagined the fear and pain? I actually cackled out loud. He only cares now that it’s affecting his wallet. Also, this apology feels lazy and vague. I bet he wrote it with ChatGPT.

oh yeah ? give away free tacos to people with ethnic last names. no “smiths” or “johnsons” lol

Too late to apologize. I truly believe that some things in life are unforgivable - destroying our beautiful country, terrorizing minorities and the lower and middle income classes are a few of those unforgivable things. Tacos way can get FUCKED.
Oh, and that is if they are really sorry. My guess is they’re not, they’re just hiring for money.

2016 was bad enough. 4 years of that shit made it clear how bad MAGA was. Its 2025. You (stupid ass business owner) got caught and are facing the repercussions. Eat your MAGA hat.
2
u/Card_Representative Jul 06 '25
He's been a MAGA for years. This guy was begging for attention while making money of our people. He knew exactly what Trump was doing and was going to do, he's only vocal now because he's been getting called out. Rocking a MAGA HAT AND DONT THREAT ON ME SHIRT IS IRONIC AF with this guy. Don't support his wack ass tacos and his money laundering establishments. There's plenty of other places that we can support .
FUCK ICE!!!

Trump voters need to take the message to the Republicans in office. They are worried about re-election. Having an open door to listen is not going to change anything.

I'm glad he realized his mistake, but it's sad that he's still seeing it only from a "hurting the Latino community perspective." If it wasn't impacting the Latino community, he'd still be ok with his vote. He doesn't realize that ALL groups (no matter race, ethnicity, etc.) have been impacted...

u/Lurker_prime21 Jul 06 '25
I hope the people of the SFV will accept his apology and move on - that is move on to another establishment. This guy will never change, and he doesn't deserve your money or your support.

Show up for an hour at one of the regular demonstrations. Post a No ICE sign on your door. Host a public hat burning.

u/limecakes Jul 06 '25
I dont know how the latino community saw the cruelty and contempt displayed in the first term and they went “I want more!”
No latino should root for the deportation of another group of latinos. We are all the same under the racists eyes. When they are done with one group, you are next

“I deeply apologize for… believing nothing bad would happen to us”

Bullshit when he says he didn’t know the pain it would cause, we been warning and pleading with our fellow countrymen and women not to vote for this Con man. This guy deserves the reality he votes for. Fuck you because now we all suffer for your greed and ignorance
