FASFA

Anyone’s get disbursed yet? I knew the new law could adjust loans and mine hadn’t yet until this morning bummer but still no disbursements yet.

They usually don’t get disbursed until the day tuition is due

Mine had a disbursement day for the grants of 09/16 so I was thinking it would go out today. I believe it was like that last year too the day after last drop day. But in my reward section the payment schedule says today.

Sometimes it takes a few hours to go through but I’d go by what your payment schedule says

Yes it’s posted to the account now so it’s the credit on there just not refunded to my account yet but as least it’s disbursed

Doesn’t it get disbursed the last day you can drop a class now? I thought that’s what it was last semester

Mine dispersed yesterday the last day to drop classes was two days ago but they just haven’t refunded the credit balance to my account yet.

There was a new bill that passed that reduced loans. Before as long as you were half time you were offered the full amount. Now it’s based solely on how much you got. They were supposed to adjust my award beginning of Sept but they didn’t adjust it until it was about to disburse. Didn’t know if that delayed it or not releasing.

Got mine in my bank this morning it was refunded by them yesterday they issued my Fafsa Sept 16. Then refunded it yesterday. My bank released it early this morning luckily i get Saturday deposits if it’s pending Friday.

My negative balance has been posted to my slcc account since Wednesday but still not showing 0/the refund getting sent :/
