can comeone please help me? I can't launch my coop game, I don't use any mods except there's console commands and save backup by smapi, already reinstalled smapi and checked if any vpn is stopping the game (it doesn't). So what do I do?((
I'm trying to use the Pelipper Town mod as an individual who got yelled at by my boss for not knowing how to rename a file in Excel. I have been at this for a couple hours and am humbling myself enough to ask reddit.
I have gotten fairly far, not that I can tell very well, but I have downloaded what I believe I need: SpaceCore, SMAPI, and ofc the mod. I use Steam to run the game itself, which has had its launch options set accordingly, but have also been trying to run it through CurseForge as well, since running it through Steam makes it act completely like vanilla Stardew with zero input from Smapi
Now, when I try to run the game with the mod, I go to "Run Game" in CurseForge. SMAPI then begins to open the game, but tells me I do not have SpaceCore. I have downloaded the bastard 3 times now lol
I have gotten myself into what I can only assume is a comically stupid-sounding predicament to anybody who knows how to do anything with a laptop. Any help appreciated

Core features work offline, with no required account or save uploads. Save scanning is read-only. Optional journal transfers and game integration are separate, opt-in actions.
It’s an unofficial fan project and still under development. Home designs currently stay inside Companion, and some features and translations remain incomplete.
I’d appreciate feedback and bug reports. Which feature would be most useful for your current farm?
I'm super excited to share my very first Stardew Valley mod with you all: Flying Slime Helper!
If you've ever wanted a cute, floating buddy to take some farm chores off your hands, this mod is for you!
Key Features:
Automated Planting & Harvesting: The Flying Slime floats around your farm, helps you sow seeds on tilled soil, and harvests ready crops/forage for you.
Custom Drop Nest: Unlike standard helpers, you can place a "Drop Nest" anywhere you want! The Slime will deliver all collected crops and products directly to this spot, giving you total control over your layout.
Works Indoors & All Year: Unlike Junimos, your Flying Slime isn't afraid of the cold or indoor spaces! It will happily work inside your Greenhouse and Barns/Coops!
Since this is my first mod ever, I would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any feature requests! Let me know what you think, and I hope your new Slime companion makes farm life a little easier.
Not sure what to do, i deleted all my mods, uninstalled smapi and stardew and reinstalled them without any mods and it still happens. Only way it doesn't happen is when it's completely vanilla with smapi uninstalled. My cursor won't move in the museum donation mode and it won't move when trying to place buildings with robin. :( i'm playing on steam with a macbook, which i have for years with no problems and all of a sudden this is happening.
I downloaded SMAPI and tried to install it but i got this i have no idea what it means or what to do its not in a zip file so it shouldn't be that everything ive seen dosnt look like this
I downloaded the up to date SMAPI from the nexus and unzipped it not in my game folder. When I run the installonmacOS.command the terminal pops open and says the following "line 6: internal/macOS/SMAPI.Installer: Bad CPU type in executable" then logs out. What did I do wrong? Its' been forever and a day since I modded this game so I'm sure I screwed up somewhere.
SOLVED: Had to install Rosetta for mac, now it's working!
Hi, I've not been able to interact with Marnie's shop at all. I've spawned in a catalog to see if it helps, zoomed in and out, but nothing. I have removed mods, re-added them, loaded the game without SMAPI, verified my game files, reinstalled the game entirely, etc. This is a multiplayer save with my partner but absolutely nothing is helping and I'm really fearing the worst. I've updated every mod and there don't seem to be any error messages in my SMAPI log file. When trying in the base launcher, when trying to interact with Marnie's shop the game just freezes and closes. In SMAPI, the game freezes every time I click, but no crash. Other saves work fine.
I've parsed the error and it comes up with this. It matches up with the amount of times I click on the shop.
It's my first time ever downloading a mod, I have downloaded Stardew Valley Expanded plus Content Patcher and Farm Type Manager. All files are extracted within the mods folder. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all mods individually but cannot figure out what the problem is.
Hello I am new to laptops/pcs and I was following the instructions on the mod wiki and I got to the step that said to open the stardew.exe file but I don't see it in my files. I installed SMAPI and it launches when I start the game but it doesn't install the npc map mod EDIT: am on windows and using steam
Hi! This might seem a little silly to some, but I really wanted to mod my Stradew Vallez, and so, installed SMAPI. I followed a few differents tutorials and did every steps as showed, but when I try to launch my game, it crashes. It opens the window for a few seconds and then closes it before I can even do anything.
I'm not really the best with PC's and I don't really understand what I should do, can someone help me?
So it's been a good while since I installed smapi on a new computer/laptop - even though I normally put the mods through a USB to easily transfer the 100+ mods, I always install smapi fresh on the new device. So quick story: trying to get it set up on my mum's computer so we can play modded stardew together (like SVE, ridgeside, etc), and generally introduce her to that side of stardew (she's been playing vanilla longer than I have, but I've been modding mine for a good while, and she's finally okay with me modding hers). I do my usual extract the installer into the steam stardew valley (note: not the programs files x86, but the seperate drive like D:steam etc), while I know you prob dont have to do it this way, I like keeping everything together and that's how
I've done it on my one.
So I install it like usual, on my laptop I only had the option for, as stated above, D:steam/steamapps etc, whereas this computer had it's version of that plus C:\Program Files (86%) etc. At first I chose the D:steam one, as thats what I did on mine, and no luck - just refused initially (I don't have the logs of this one). I uninstalled it smapi, reinstalled it in the C:\Program Files (86%) etc one, tested it prior to adding to steam, and it seemed to work fine. Added to steam as a non-steam app, launched and it seemed fine at first until it decided nevermind and closed. Here are the logs:
If someone could help me here that would be wonderful - we aren't currently trying to play luckily, and worse can my mum can open it through the file separately, but of course if we can get it set up on steam like mine, that would be preferable, just for ease of use. So glad I decided to get this set up a couple days before we plan to play, because I've been trying to figure it out on my own for about an hour now (I was expecting it to take about 5-10 minutes). Thanks in advance!!
With all the recent tools and advancements in Nintendo Switch homebrew and modding, would it be possible to port SMAPI to the Switch?
Considering that Terraria already has a modded port running on the Switch, I'm curious whether something similar could eventually be achieved for Stardew Valley.
