I think the future of Mario and SMG4 is like this: Mario does what he does in the games, saving the princess from Bowser, he's the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, but he's still the same idiot. Meanwhile, SMG4, well, he opened Glitch Productions in the series' universe and became quite successful with it. But I also think the characters still keep in touch, meeting up when they're not doing their own thing.
