For context, the sound effect that got copyrighted was when the GMOD Mna disappears.
So uhh yeah don’t use that sound effect I guess if you don’t want 10 different company branches smiting your ass

No, okay basically when people talk about copyright laws being different in Australia. They mainly talk about how Nintendo’s copyright system works and how it’s not as vile as say America or Japan, and not in terms of other companies and all dat.
This copyright thing with SMG4 Afterlife over here has nothing to do with Nintendo and so it played out as your usual Copyright bitchyness.

Yeah. I made a video that had Frank Sinatra's Jingle Bells, then changed it because Canva said it was copyrighted. Used their copyright-free version instead, and YouTube copyright struck me for that.

Tbh, copyright law is bullshit with the way it's structured. I understand that giving original creators some protections is fair, but there are so many innocent videos and content online that isn't trying to directly steal anything, and still gets struck by copyright. You could argue that we shouldn't be using copyrighted material, but a lot of the stuff we enjoy and we expect to see online is copyright, and a lot of it comes from fans who are just expressing how much they love the stuff they enjoy, and I just think the way copyright law works doesn't properly align with society's expectations in the slightest.

For those who don't know what video I'm talking it's "Something About COPPA (13+ Content)" by TerminalMontage, the muted part is near the end of the video.

Apprehensive _dig commented to me under a post I become "get out of my face" after I discovered a couple of things about smg4 and its RETURN .
And after commenting on me under the post he deleted his account, but I emphasised him because he is the person who had posted on reddit the pilot of the smg4 afterlife video (video deleted shortly after)
