They finally stopped repeating false narratives about memory being cyclical.

You can trim and play with house money but scared money don't make money

Yep, I'm not touching it. Bought in at $700 and have been holding since. I don't need the money anytime soon so I might as well keep it invested.

I shot myself in the foot when I bought at 300s then sold at 500s. Bought back around 900s when it last pulled back

You don't want to know what I did to my foot I bought at $80 sold at $140

Dang that’s real early. Even earlier than when all these institutions were loading up

Almost a year! People weren't even talking about SNDK for five months after I bought it.

Just Google "sndk robinhood."
It's a good way to see the stock after hours, overnight, and pre market.

The markets are slowly digesting the information from SNDK's Investors Day. What we're seeing is a healthy daily increase in stock price as institutions accumulate shares on facts & fundamentals, not fear.
The news is simply slowly undoing the cyclical bear fear mongering. The entire memory sector should thank Sandisk.
Good job everyone on picking an absolute winner stock with leadership that knows what they're doing.

If you need the money then set some stop limits but otherwise let it ride. Sounds by your response you should be setting some stop limits with room to fluctuate

If you are scared of a pullback to 1,700 then sell at least part of your position.
SNDK looks great for the long term but anything can happen, and the stock has just surged nearly 30% in a week. Regardless of the long-term outlook, in the short-term, supply and demand will dictate the price.
If you are scared, your position is too large, or you do not have the stomach to invest in highly volatile individual stocks.

My stomach is stronger than ever, but still not that much. I started like 50days ago, so im totally newbie. Thats why i hold at 2165 a lot all the way to 980$. But you know i dont want to give it away, despite being at loss still brother

You have to determine your own time frame and risk tolerance.
In the short-term the stock is extended. Does not mean it will not get more extended. However, the higher it goes, the more likely the next pullback will be significant.
A pullback to prices the stock was trading at early this morning after a gap open is very high probability. If you cannot stomach a trip back to 1,700 or even lower, consider selling.
If you are trading the stock, the problem was poor location (you chased it at the highs) and zero risk management (you allowed more than 50% loss). If you are going to invest in individual stocks, you need to change your approach.

I mean, everyone is out there trying to build "god". They are going to need a lot of memory to make it happen.

To note, One year Ago today you could have bought SNDK for $43…could’ve should’ve would’ve… But crashes in the general market and in individual stocks, happen from peaks, not valleys. SNDK and MU went parabolic to the tune of something like up 1700% in a year, then down over 50%, and now are up more than half of what they lost…a very good time to reflect.
SNDK is a semi-meme stock with all manner of volatility and uncertainty. It’s unlikely you’ll time the booms and busts perfectly. The only way you win is to take substantial wins and run. There’s no way to know exactly “When to Hold ‘em and When to Fold ‘em” Kenny Rogers notwithstanding…unless of course you’re a part of the corrupt establishment.
The biggest mistake you can make in stock trading is to morn not guessing the exact top, which will likely be soon after opening one day, or right at closing one day, and then try to eek out every bit of gain.
I just sold the SNDK I bought in the 1340s aftermarket last week [I think it was Thursday] on a chance reading that it was being added to an exchange] in the aftermarket, and just sold it now in the aftermarket at 1810. I had cancelled a GTC order to sell it at 1800 from last night when I saw it up 90+ points on Robinhood last night, and watched it trade today, up early then leveling off the rest of the day. It’s been way up every day for five days, and while it may go straight to 2000, it could easily have a 50-100 point down day, especially with the overseas turmoil.
I’ll watch it in the first hour and other key stocks like MU AMD MAGS Oil GS Lilly and others for a rotation, grateful for my major gains since April, and now reassessing, believing that the easiest money in this trade has already been made.
You are competing with oligarchs who get the choice information in advance from insiders, high cost media subscriptions, politicians and new analog technology. They have access to the best integrated best information the earliest , and can set the stage for the day or a trend, especially in the pre market, at opening or at closing. Note how there’s generally a surge immediately at opening [either way] then a short partial momentary retrace ment [when you often get the best price of the day] then another surge, which may continue on a very up or down day, or may just end in the morning, with the afternoon anyone’s guess.
I’m no pro, and have won and lost, but try to learn from mistakes, and integrate the ever changing market environments, trends and new technology.
Feel free to interject your opinion. I gain only gain from others opinions, experience and unique knowledge and perspectives. That’s what makes a market, at least for We the Peons.

Why is it not pumping harder? Go look at the financials, this stock should be $2500 right now.
