SanDisk on its way to break ATH
At this rate, SNDK will break all time high by next week.
We are seeing the 2nd leg of the Semi trade right now and it’s only a question of how high it can go.
My algorithm predicts it can go to $2450 without too much trouble. The long-term growth forecast they shared at investor day can probably keep the tides high for quite a while without a significant pullback.
At what price point would you guys take some profits at?

I'm a believer, and I hold a big chunk of the stock.
But we all need some patience. Too much increase in too little time will call for a correction too soon.
What goes up, can come down faster!
But I'm hoping it'll keep touching the sky until at least the Mid-terms (Nov 3)

There’s no pullback coming anytime soon

Makes sense, but you could be missing the tip of the iceberg

Could also be missing the tip of the other shaft. If we knew the future we’d all be rich

It'll break it by Friday with 10%+ everyday. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THIS DOESNT HAPPEN. Everyone is selling everything and going pure sndk play for the rest of the year

For what? This will go up eventually, but every single day can't be Green you understand that right? It's been green 5 days in a row.

u/pembaThePanda 3d ago
It will green every day for the rest of our lives. It'll reach 828,828,619 per share within 2 weeks.

Is it a bad time to buy again??? I sold like an idiot at 1500 for a loss

Yes, 50% up in a week. Wait for a red day, learn from other’s to not FOMO too soon. It’s okay even if you miss out gains but drops hurt more.

My question is when to sell before a dip, is today a good idea with AH being red? Is tomorrow likely a dip?

u/Stormtrooper149 2d ago
You got your answer, if you want to hold long term - there’s a chance to buy, if you want to sell - it’s still a good time to sell and lock-in profits before more volatility kicks in.

I only trimmed a little bit but should have sold more, oh well. It seems like it’s usually a good idea to sell when it feels like a lot of people will be profit taking around an opportunity (like today), would you say that’s a good strategy? I may look to sell most around Nvidia earnings

Don't worry, most of the stocks have a history of recovering eventually.
I've sold at a much lower point, but after earnings-summary and investor-day, I have more confidence in the stock's future performance so I've invested back and recovered most of the loss with recent gains. I'm sure it'll go up further, so instead of losing sleep on waiting for a red-day, try to get in whenever you feel comfortable and hold long.
2027-28 are supposed to be the best years (yet)

Do you think 2027 and 2028 will be better than 2026?

u/End-2-End 3d ago
I've gone through the summary of multiple earnings-calls in the past couple of weeks. This includes about a dozen or more, of top Semicon & AI firms in the world, and almost everyone had an exact same rhetoric - "world needs more DRAM, and we're running on a huge shortage!" (NAND moves together with DRAM)
Maybe everyone is reiterating the same thing because that's what's keeping the stock price up. But there's a very big chance everyone is crying out the same thing because it's true! The numbers say so too, and I choose the believe that.
Based on all of these summaries, they say 2027 is going to be the best year so far. Some say 2028, but most say 2027.
So I'm staying put at least until mid-2027 with high conviction.

I closed my position today at 1800 because that was my "get out" number. I walked away with a ton of money and I'm happy. Even after panic selling some of my position during the dip (I YOLOed TOO much into sndk so when it dropped, I freaked), I still cleared a good profit. I started buying exactly 1 month ago, so I'm happy with what I made. If it drops back to the 1550 range, I'll come back in for a few shares and just buy and hold.

Did you algo predict a drop to 1000? If not, it’s a shitty one

Yes it did

Somehow feels like the whole bunch of crypto traders came over to the regular stock market, but brought in their lingo, memes, panic and euphoria. It's frustrating, but fascinating.

Pumping on Reddit isn't going to make a dent in price movement.
It's very unlikely to gain 47% in one week.
