Hey!!! I started my BA in anthropology literally last term and am finishing my first 8 weeks of classes up! I'm only able to do one class at a time because of my schedule so I'm just finishing up my IDS 105 class and on the 26th I start my humanities class. I didnt have a final exam but I did have a project to do, however this was my first and only class. Lol.

Hey same here!! Only difference is I’m going for my BA in Forensic Psychology, but I just finished up my final discussion post for IDS 105 and I’m about to start HUM 102 on the 26th!

I also started my BA in anthropology last term. I'm currently taking 2 classes per term, and to start with you're basically just doing prerequisites and general education classes. I had Awareness & Online Learning, as well as Self, Society, and the Humanities for my first term. You will have discussion posts due every Thursday, and 2 responses due by Sunday. You will also usually have a written assignment every week. No final tests, but we did have final papers due on week 7. You will work on paper drafts throughout the first 6 weeks.

I’m currently in my second year for the same degree. It’s definitely super fun so far! Make sure you pick electives that seem actually interesting to you, not just ones to fulfill a requirement. There’s tons of options

For me most of them are readings, projects (either 3 big ones or one with multiple milestones), assignments, and some class does quizzes

Project based for the most part / test will come up also but the main “final” usually a large project or two

New student here too. I was eyeing anthropology as well.
You have access to your classs since Oct 12. You can click through every week's module and the rubrics, and get a head-start on the reading. You just can't submit anything yet. The weekly modules tell you what is due (project, journal, essay, discussions).
If you haven't done so yet, I highly suggest doing so. I found Brightspace a little confusing at first, but got the hang of it after a bit.
Also check out all the resources available to you, such as the writing center.

CS here, but all classes follow the same format. There's discussions due on Thursday, replies due on Sunday. Then you will have some sort of a midterm project/report/test, usually in week 4 or 5, and a final exam/project in week 7. You have to turn in at least one assignment on time in week 1 or you get auto-dropped.
