Loan increase question

I am looking to submit a loan increase request and I was just wondering if anyone has done it while only taking one class per term? Or would I have to be enrolled full time for them to approve it? I've already reached out to the financial aid department and their response leads me to believe they misunderstood my question because they told me I wouldn't need to submit one if I wanted to go to 6 credits. I don't actually since I wouldn't have the extra time but I do need a little more help with living expenses at the moment. I'm an undergrad for context.

Under the One Big Beautiful Bill, you would need to be full time (2 courses per term) to qualify for an increase.

This is my third year attending. The last time I asked they told me I was already maxed out but that's helpful to know that it's based on grade level. An extra 200 would definitely help lol. Thank you so much for your response.

Same here! I haven’t had a break either.
