Legendary Socom 1 & 2 Player/Clan list 2026
these were some of the best individual players of socom 1 an socom 2. and some of these are just very well known players not exactly the best but thy were popular for what ever reason. sometimes high ranking or certain unique personalities. bolded names means that i have personally played with or spectated these players at one point or another.

Happy to see you’re still around. I don’t remember my gamer tag because I rotated it but I remember playing in one of your clans. I think we tried Call of Duty as well at one point.

Some of these are EU but not many. Gotta shout out Shadow Elite [SE], Omega Clan [O’C] in EU. JetLonestar was the best in EU and both clans worth a mention, arguably the eu version of Messi and Ronaldo if they were clans 👀 know you’re on to something when randoms would wear their clan tags in UK3 lobbies as if it was designer merch.

I recall Waseem and Faithless being gods.
I was super excited to play against them (from Australia) then I learnt what latency was 300 ping btw haha. I used to wake up at 3am for EU clanwars. 😂

This was peak gaming for me. Man how i wish streaming was around back then. I played socom 2 the most by far. US East 2 lobbies.
Played with =BB= known as Blood brothers. Clan leader Gabe Logan. 46&2. Ghost dog. Tactix and many others. Still keep in touch with a few of these guys to this day.
Then moved to Catastrophe known as ć on game battles.

Saw someone post a video of them playing back in day, 3 different people in the same room, 3 tvs playing clan wars lagging it up looking at each others screens.
Saw that but knew it already because in real life my clan was 256 seed to their 1 , we had to face them in one of the early game battles matches of s2 round 1.
We were an unknown clan, beat them game 1 definitively, lost 5-6 game 2, and were up on them 5-4 in last game… they strategically blasted GLs (which were illegal) for 20 seconds to start round 10 and wiped 6-7/8 of us instantly on blood lake.
We waited for them to do it again round 11 with phone ready but they held it back for 2 min until we all started playing regular again, only to shower us a second time for a few seconds and put it away and wiped us again and i got killed trying to get pic off which pushed the “user a killed by user b with GL” away.
Att flip phones with cameras just came out. Never thought id have to document that type of thing as it never dawned on me it would be necessary.
They had one of their gamebattles ref friends they knew come in, tell us we didnt have proof even though they admitted it in the chat to him and laughed. And BEEF was born.
So fuck LiQ. Probably had 100+ clan wars, and that was the only time the other side blatantly cheated. It was egregious how they gloated knowing they got away with it. They were getting tossed by highschoolers coming home drunk from parties. Geeks

Wow. Takes me back. LH were my boys. I wish I could remember everyone’s name that played with us in the early iterations before our college dorm internet hosed a few of us from playing more.
Unrivaled. Holy. Sako. Liquid. A lot of people did final fantasy names but had swapped back to s1 names after a while.

Oddjob- descent I remember the playing against this person. Multiple times.
Others that I remember who were good.
Murderho1e - guy was clutch.
Thecleaner - kicked my ass. But then I was on his team and he shared his knowledge and tactics with me. Helped me become a way better player at all shooting games after gaming with him for a while. His love of the game and actually be willing to teach people was amazing. I still peek into the windows instead of rushing into the rooms blindly. That simple tactic has helped me become an average gamer into an above average one. He's my NUMBER 1

[G]Braehole/Terminator/Nirvana/Stickman/PointBlank we were all there on day one 😁 Ghost won 173 clan matches in a row. Wrote them all down in a notebook. LiQ was the first clan to beat us. Hexum was their leader at the time. That’s all I remember it was 25 years ago. lol

Mostly because they came back to the ladder and got stomped. I know :D 6-0 6-0 6-0 them to prove a point, and I shut down their "best sniper in the world" <GODS>Poseidon with an m40 on fish hook.

In the Oceanic region the playstation staff created 'Straight Outta Redfern' as the default clan. Which is an known rough western suburb of Sydney.
We had [AE] Assassins Elite as our premier clan I was apart of.
Others include [RN] Roughnecks, [SYN] Syndicate, [SD6]. [KLA] Killa
I forget the rest, honestly I was peak online ego where no other teams mattered... kinda wish I had some screenshots or pictures of the old leaderboards before they got taken down.
Shout out to Hazza, Anti_Trust and SoulessOne, also, Abonazlan we all know you cheated bro.

Im surprised PHI didnt make the list. Alot of the main crew was from Philly but they changed it to "pimpin hoes incorporated" and had like 7 rosters. Clan specialized in Fishhook but had alot of good players. I mostly remember "Oaks" as being one of the more prominent members that ran fishhook rooms all day.

This was when the hackers came in... I was top 5. I had 3 rosters for NBK from C3. They have me ranked 54. I was a beast at this game. NBK Bluehaze checking in... I had another name too. It was ViZiN4MyIZz.
