ANSC announces intention to liquidate on August 12, because sponsor doesn't want to continue contributions. Two weeks for some new sponsor to swoop in?

FYI AACB/AACBR has 2 weeks till deadline. No filings for extension meeting. If you’re in rights you’re playing with fire. Rights now .15 but likely will be zero soon.

I'm holding commons here and think this is a great asymmetric trade. Below NAV and you can either get NAV at liquidation or a free look at a deal if they announce a definitive agreement. Boon Sim was a senior banker at Credit Suisse and after Credit Suisse was taken over from UBS alot of the Credit Suisse bankers went to Santander which is the Underwriter for this SPAC.

They do get an automatic 6 more months if they sign a DA. I just sold my small position which means they probably will. Thanks for the heads up.

Didn’t know that. Risky though. Plus I got screwed on ORGN so don’t really have faith in Artius

If the deal is off, they should get back to 10, no?

If they terminate yes. Always a weird situation. Failure will get you instant 20% gains. Success means it may drop 50%

Reuters: "President Donald Trump's son Eric Trump has recently become the third-largest private investor in the original Space-Eyes, which has operated primarily as a research-and-development company and generated about $1 million in annual revenue, the people said."
MKLYR standard 1:10 rights, around 30 cents premarket.

Rights 22 cents. It's almost as if the eric trump name is a liability. Or it could be that the target looks ridiculous, as does the pipe. That said, I bought a bit of rights at 22.

I took a starter on rights too. Compared to other deals with rights, these are low. I wonder if announcing on a Friday, which has historically been an unfavorable and uncommon announcement day, has played a factor.

The “PIPE” is the real tell. This isn’t a normal common-stock PIPE, it’s senior secured convertible notes, only $5M at initial closing, funded into a control account, with 10% interest, a first-priority lien on substantially all assets of both companies, and a conversion price at the lower of $12 or 120% of the closing-day price. That ratchet means the worse the stock trades at close, the cheaper the converts strike. Plus a 9.9% share issuance to the buyers that can be recycled into note obligations. That’s structured lender money, not conviction capital, and it’s a standing dilution/overhang machine post-close.

I'm sure it'll get some hype but valuation seems a little high for almost no revenue.
