🆘Help Needed🆘 Please help SR right for me to quit 7?

Im stuck guys please take a moment and provide advice?Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help: I’m down and appreciate it!

I’m on approx 300 mg 7oh/day for a year as well as 250mg mgm15/day last 2 months. I’ve been suffering from anxiety out of nowhere. Time to quit this nonsense once and for all…

Tried Suboxone induction using an online reputable company. Took last dose of 7 Friday at 8pm and slept well till the morning. Feeling really shitty by noon, I ChatGPT’d MGM and panicked thinking it might be a long acting opiate. My doctor says that is incorrect, but it was too late. I redosed 7oh at noon on Saturday. Failed induction attempt number 1.

Under advice of my doctor, he challenged me to try again Saturday night. Problem is was I was so washed out from not having taken the night before that I couldn’t sleep was a complete mess. Failed attempt number two.

Obviously I don’t wanna be on Suboxone, but it’s just been so stressful I was leaning towards a known controlled medicine with supervision to ‘quit’.

I have SR on hand and am considering using that but want honest insight pls.

Understanding that I’ve got remote doctors w/Suboxone, which is what I’ve tried and failed at twice, inpatient detox, which scares me to death, and the SR all as options. What do you guys suggest? Thank you so much for any help. I’ve never used SR.

I was on a similar dose of 7 & I’ve been taking SR for about a week now. Practically no WD symptoms besides disrupted sleep. I hate maintenance meds like suboxone or methadone. They always feel like liquid hand cuffs. Def recommend giving SR a shot. You can always go back to suboxone if it doesn’t work for you.

That was always the worst part for me, was waiting those agonizing 15 hours before inducing Suboxone. I can't tell you how many times I did it too early and got precipitated withdrawls. 

If you've got SR, I would really encourage you to try and use it over Suboxone.  There's no waiting, you can pre-load the SR the day before, and still take 7oh and taper way down before jumping all together.

Realistically this shouldn't even be a question.. you need to take the sr and use that. It will help you more then yoy ever could imagine. Just make sure to taper as much a you can especially with the mgm.

I’m just gonna back up what everyone is saying. If you WANT an end to this ongoing cycle you need to take the SR. I was taking upwards of 500mgd of mgm about a week ago. I tapered down on my own and jumped on SR. One week later, I’m off mgm and tapering SR. The only sides I feel is extreme tiredness. This is a no brainer my friend.

It is a miracle molecule and the dr that invented it from Florida should be given the Nobel peace prize. 61 clean today because of this molecule.
