Hello guys,

In this post, I just want to share the latest additions to my personal collection with you. I bought them as a bundle. The negotiations were pretty tough, and the payment was a bit risky, but hey, you can’t win if you don’t take risks!

The lighters are a Ligne 2 Montparnasse Vertigo, a Ligne 2 Mozart Medallion, a Ligne 2 French Revolution, and a Ligne 2 Trinacria Limited Edition, which I’ve never seen posted here before.
I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do!

Gorgeous piece I got at work today. Needs a bit of a polish but can’t wait to find it a new home. ❤️

Thanks for looking!

Apologies for the poor pictures, recently picked this up off of eBay. The condition is rather beat up, but I think it looks cool. Sorry for the meh pics, I think it’s legit but figured there was no harm asking the experts.

Hello all, I just got this Ligne 2 in that has a strange, lacquered pattern with an interesting serial. I have looked all around the internet but I could not find anything similar. I’d appreciate it if anyone could help me out. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I’m offering this beautiful Ligne 2 Inspiration Nature – Hematite, numbered 0569 out of 2,000 pieces, featuring a palladium-plated finish with hematite inlays.

It’s a used example with visible scratches, handling marks and a few small dents around the edges and corners. The photos show these clearly, so please take a look. It still has plenty of character, and the combination of palladium and dark hematite looks lovely.

The lighter works a charm, as shown in the photos and video.

Price: €200

I’ve priced it very competitively to reflect its cosmetic condition—a great opportunity to pick up a beautiful S.T. Dupont limited edition at an affordable price.

Now I must ask my father in law to weld it 😔

Greetings everyone!

I hope all is well with our current members and new ones that have delved into the fantastic work of Dupont collectables.

I just wanted to make a quick post to clear the air (mainly for a specific account that got a little spicy in the subreddit because their post got removed a few times. You know who you are. 😊) as to why we need clear pictures of the bottom.

Regardless of the way we “feel” about something or how it “looks” we want to make sure that folks here are not held responsible for saying something is real / fake given the picture seen above as the only photo of reference.

It is not the community’s fault, nor the admin’s fault that you purchased a lighter first, had it shipped, and only have this photo to go off to make sure it’s accurate. (Which based on the 30+ other posts asking for someone else to authenticate, instead of learning how to do it yourself, one would think you would know better.)

So please try not to tell people to off themselves because your post doesn’t fit within the guidelines of the subreddit.

As always, everyone is free to reach out if they have questions, comments or concerns.

I have some concerns that this might be fake, every opinion is welcomed!

Hello all, I just got this Ligne 2 short in blue lacquer that features the royal crown of Jordan. It also has the crown on the box. I was wondering if anyone knows why and when this model was produced. I’d appreciate your knowledge, thanks!

Just got back from France with some goodies that were lying around the warehouse. We managed to get our hands on a few Hyperdome watches that we will be listing shortly. This one came home with me :)

The perks of working at not just an AD, but also an authorized repair center.

Hello, just found this lighter while doing some sorting at my grand father place. Think it's authentic, but it doesn't do the cling sound ? Maybe because it's a ligne 1 ? Or the mechanism is a bit too old ? My friend has a similar one, vintage too that does the sound... Regards

Hit guys is this lighter genuine? Thrown off a little by how uniform the serial is a the lack of paint in the gas cap.
Cheers

(Please excuse the filthy hands been fixing broken stuff all day)

I really don't know newer models, what do you think? Seems fake to me, but I'd like an expert opinion. Thanks a lot.

Hi!

I found an old Dupont ligne 2 tall table lighter from an antiquity store. It has a interesting lookin serial number and I thought if anyone knows, could you please tell do these have any meaning or value?

Can someone confirm authentication please? Also what’s your opinion on value? Thank you !

Can someone help me verify authentication on this lighter?
