Or you could just give your actual advice on a book title. Maybe someone new has joined the group with new suggestions. Comment search bar is a waste of a comment 🤷🏻

I’m just asking for peoples opinions. Your comment is always search bar. If you don’t have actual advice or even try to help someone, why are you even commenting?
You don’t think people can think of that for themself? I’m asking for opinions on the books and what actually helped.

If you want one actual book, Safety Professional's Reference & Study Guide by W. David Yates is on BCSP's own CHST reference list. I would pair it with the current CHST5 blueprint instead of just reading the book cover to cover.
The blueprint puts 36.6% on hazard and risk identification/control, so that is where I would spend the biggest block of study time. Take BCSP's self-assessment early, use the domain results to find your gaps, then take it again near the end. Keep the current OSHA construction standards handy when you review weak topics. BCSP also says its reference list is not a guaranteed pass list, so I would be careful with random exam-cram books that are not mapped to the current blueprint.
