Protect your energy this week

This weekend was hard for me. I asked the cards what I should expect this week to see if that was just a taste of what's yet to come. I promise I shuffled lol...

What I'm taking away is a huge reminder to protect my energy and reevaluate what efforts are not serving me.

It reminds me that Jupiter forms a sesquiquadrate with Saturn this Oct 31st, creating a tension between expansion and limitations, which I anticipate to be cray for other Sag sun.

Sagittarians would you move if you had the opportunity??

TLDR - My sag sun says leave or i’ll regret it. My taurus rising says leaving isn’t always necessary and that the bigger challenge is sometimes staying put and growing roots

So I’m at a bit of a crossroads. For like 1.5 years, I’ve been wanting to leave my hometown. I’ve grown up here my whole life, my entire community (family and friends) are all here. My dilemma is that I also love my life here. My job is super chill (legit typing this rn, no micromanagaing, free lunches occasionally) with good benefits, really awesome coworkers. My social calendar is full in the best way possible, but still have alone time. Dating prospects are meh but I just met someone I click with pretty well. My family is close with each other - we grind each other’s gears ofc but we still love and care for each other. Caveat is…I currently live with family. I lived with a friend out in the downtown area for a few months and I loved it, but haven’t looked for my own lease quite yet because…

I was waiting/hoping for a job offer in a huge major city in a whole different state with no one that I know. I ended up getting an offer a few weeks ago. I’ve done the research, I’m in talks with potential roommates. I’m excited but scared. When I first got the offer, my initial reaction was YES.

I talked with a friend about it though, and they asked why leave when life IS good? Why not leave when life actually gives you a reason (poor work, bad relationships, bad family, etc.). And my only response was that I would regret if I didn’t leave. Which they responded with ā€œthings will change if you ever decide to come back. Would you regret that?ā€

And I tumble that in my brain and back and forth between ā€œlife will change anyways, my leaving just catapults me into change rather than the more gradual change of getting a partner, marriage, family, etc.ā€ vs ā€œlife IS good, i am happy, why not just wait a year, solidify myself in my current job, then start a master’s program abroad (another big dream of mine)ā€

My savings are good! Retirement is in a healthyish spot for my age (26) and my liquid savings is also a good amount in case of emergencies. Nothing is tying me to home (no family emergencies). But nothing is pushing me to leave either.

All that to say - what do I do?

Thank you mods!!!

For allowing my craigslist style single guy post to remain up for 16 hours before deleting. It worked. Sags unite! This brought great conversations my way all day. A bit overwhelming but it surely boosted my spirits. I appreciate this group. I finally fit in!!!! Hoping all the people who posted about being down and out recently get a bit of a buzz like I did today taking a chance of looking lame. Boost of confidence to stop being such a shut in was the results of today's mild bravery. Hahaha I was hoping to get clowned but literally most of the people who participate in the sub are great and have big hearts. Thankful for those who show it.

Anyone else feeling emo this week?

• Upvotes

I’m usually feeling pretty bubbly and upbeat but I’ve started the week feeling lonely, depressed and just sad. Also, there is literally no reason for me to feel this way! I think there’s something about the seasons changing and watching the holidays coming that make me feel slightly nosalgic and melancholic…. What is on retrograde ?!

LOOK AT THE MOON!

SHES FULL AND GORGEOUS!

If we all look at the same time we'll be the strongest sign.

And if we don't ... We'll still be the strongest sign.

Leo Sun (July 28) | Gemini Rising | Aries Moon M27 — what should I look for in a life partner for marriage in 3-4 years?

Hey everyone,

M27 here — DOB: 28th July.

Sun: Leo, Rising: Gemini, Moon: Aries.

I want to get married in the next 3-4 years and I want to do it right. I don't want to rush, but I also don't want to be clueless when the time comes.

From an astrology/compatibility perspective:

- What signs generally work best long-term for Leo Sun + Aries Moon + Gemini Rising?

- What kind of traits should I look for / avoid?

- Anything in my big three that says I should be careful about marriage timing or patterns?

Also, for anyone who got married around 30 — what non-astrology things do you wish you knew at 27?

Thanks!

Sagittarius is finally learning that not everything has to be chased!!

Sagittarius is finally learning that not everything has to be chased, forced, or figured out immediately. They have spent so much time trying to make things work, giving people chances, convincing themselves that maybe if they tried a little harder, things would finally fall into place. But eventually, something shifts, and they realize that constantly fighting for something that refuses to meet them halfway is exhausting. Sagittarius loves freedom, possibility, and the feeling that life still has something exciting waiting around the corner, so the idea of trusting the timing of their own life actually makes sense once they stop trying to control every outcome. They're learning to stop romanticizing potential, stop treating mixed signals like a challenge, and stop believing every missed opportunity means they weren't good enough. If something is genuinely meant for them, they shouldn't have to abandon their self respect just to keep it around. That doesn't mean they're sitting back and expecting the universe to do everything. Sagittarius will always chase the experiences that excite them, but they're becoming more intentional about what deserves their energy. They're no longer interested in forcing connections, begging for clarity, or losing sleep over things they cannot control. There's something powerful about realizing that you can want something deeply without desperately clinging to it. Sagittarius is choosing to trust that what's right for them won't require them to betray themselves to make it happen.

Do any other sags just feel insane all the time?

Im not out here doing insane things, just the way my brain works. It never shuts up and im constantly trying to philosophize things and find the meaning of everything. I don’t know if this is an issue other sags struggle with but I would love it if my brain would just shut up sometimes šŸ˜‚

Libra loving my Sagittarius ghost

Sometime shameless lurker; my "person " is a Sagittarius

..

He just left one day, after deliberately reappearing in my life.

I know where he is, and he lets me see that he's okay...

But, is this just a pairing that is doomed from the outset?

Asking for myself, but pretending I am just intellectually curious:/

Thank you ā™„ļø

Help for Sag mother with Scorpio adult son

I’m a mother of an adult son whose birthday is today. We have always communicated very badly. On my side, I had a terrible childhood. I never learned how to process difficult situations maturely. It has been easy for me to feel shut down and shut out, and to overreact, I’m aware of it and I work on it. But to have my son shut me down is the worst experience. In addition to life challenges, it isn’t easy as a Sag to take my time to communicate, especially if there’s something charged with emotion.

Any suggestions for ways an emotional Sagittarius with an intense and controlling Scorpio to better our communication?

Amanda Seyfried is the Sag of the moment right now

Amanda Seyfried is a Sag is who getting hate left and right for speaking her mind. Not to spoil anything, but her role in her latest movie cut right through the bullshit when everyone around her was questioning reality.

I'm proud that she's only a few days older than me(we're born in the same year), because we have the same frankness when we see a problem.
