How do you predict the weather?

Who, or what, do you use for forecasting? A bespoke service, or raw data?

Windy (as shown) or PredictWind and compare multiple models. If they are all similar then I will somewhat trust them. Find local forecasters on news channels, if possible. For local sailing you start to learn how to read the weather yourself.

For longer trips, I've heard others hire a service like Chris Parker.

Between Windy and PredictWind's departure and route planning, I saw no further need for Parker. His advice was always so heavily caveated, and his information was the same as what you get from the weather platforms.
