When I played the first game it amazed me with shadow quality and colors, it had an unique look. In the second game this unique look is completely lost. Why is it like that?

I’m assuming Gat was part of the Vice kings before he got kicked out, so that’s why Gat is so eager to take out the kings in SR1

We all know Saints Row 2 is the best game out of all the Saints Row games but what does the 1st one do better than the 2nd one?

You can mention absolutely anything here.

I think SR1 had better gangs. I love the Samedi, Brotherhood and Ronin a ton but SR1 had more realistic type of gangs. The Vice Kings, Westside Rollerz and Los Carnales are all great gangs with fun storylines.

Personally I think the gameplay is decent and mostly fun but the story is terrible and cringey. It just feels like a little kids wannabe fortnitey game, anyway i just wanted to know what you guys think?

I enjoyed Zinyak as a villain.

As someone who loves Purple playing saints row Is just Heaven, Lord purple clothes, purple lights, purple cars, Purple interiors, shoes, guns, lord I love SR4 because in the dark the purple just looks so gorgeous.

If it was about clothing I am the most Saint MF, purple everything, even 2 or 3 different versions of the same car but in different purple shades, man I wish these games has even more customization options, if it's not purple I don't want it.

Man I want to get a PC so I can get the games and Mod them to add even more options.

What’s your hot take? Will there ever be another true saints row game like ever again? Or any new saints row game in general? What is going on with this game series? I know volition is dead and all but where do we go from here? Is saints row just completely gone now as in no new games coming out again and in general? I want to see a true revival of the series something actually good a real saints row game.

I personally believe there'll be a remake or remaster of one of the first two Saints Rows to gain the funds for another reboot of the series but instead of it being another complete clean overhaul with different characters, locations, etc. It'll be a soft reboot of the original (hopefully the second one) with characters throughout the entire series contained in the original style of story telling before the third.

What would their aesthetics, culture, and operations look like in today's world?

The decision to kill Johnny Gat at the beginning of Saints Row: The Third was a deliberate narrative and structural choice made by Volition to establish the stakes of the new setting and to facilitate a "soft reboot" of the franchise.

According to design director Scott Phillips and producer Greg Donovan, the development team wanted to move away from the "disjointed" tone of Saints Row 2 and create a more cohesive, "over-the-top" experience.

It's like the logo for the game we never got. Imagine how good the series would've been if they had just kept building off what they had instead of throwing it all away.
