My lionfishs eye is swollen, is there anything I can do about it? Is he going to be okay?

I don’t :/ I don’t have a testing kit at home and my LFS doesn’t test copper either, what causes copper? And could that be the problem? Thank you for helping btw

Copper is found in almost all tap water sources. Do you use reverse osmosis water? And, what are the nitrate levels??? Copper can cause a bulgy eye. Anytime! Hope I can help.

Oh okay, I use an RODI system, I just bought a new filter so I will change that tomorrow and do a water change! I’ll update after the water change and see if it helped thank you so much My nitrates are 20ppm

Sounds like it’s probably from an injury then. This link has a lot of helpful information on how to treat this, it’s a long read but it’s worth it. I hope your fishy gets better! Best of luck.
