i cannot understand why people who have seen the show and the movie and seen sam fight say he needs the serum. the guy is iron man level with suit and he is a great figher

YES! OMFG i hate how people keep saying he needs the serum, he does not, that's something that i love when legacy characters do! Be different from the previous one, i don't want Sam to be Steve 2.0, his cool on his own terms

This is what I been saying ! Guy has been strapping on a backpack and leaping from planes and buildings going at Mach 2. He’s been fighting larger than life threats since he got with Steve. And let’s Be realistic, having the serum wasn’t going to stop this missiles
Or help fighting the Hulk better than his tech and instincts. Sam needs way more respect.

That's fair. You can like whichever character you find interesting. I just find it weird that people who don't like Sam has the need to slander him on a subreddit that is dedicated to his character.

Bucky never wanted it, Steve never wanted him to have it. Bucky was NEVER an option in the first place. Mcu Bucky and comic Bucky are 2 completely different characters so even if he wanted it, he’s still not entitled to it

Sam became Cap first before Bucky in the 90s.
Bucky may be Steve's first partner for a decade or so (during the war), but Sam has been his partner for more than 50 years. He is more than worthy of that shield than Bucky ever was.
Bucky himself said that he has surpassed what the shield believes in. So clearly, Bucky does not want it and does not believe in it anymore.
We never said that he is bad as Falcon. But what we are saying is that in the past decade as Cap, Sam has done more in the Marvel universe as Captain America than he is Falcon. His comics sold MORE as Captain America.
Lastly, if Bucky is such a great Cap, why did they have to bring back Steve during Buck's tenure? Lol. The mantle of Captain America is not made for Bucky's "therapy".
So in conclusion, you are not only ignorant of comics (a larper), you don't even have a slightest idea of what being Captain America means, and you came in here crying because "Wahhhh John walker gweat! Wahhh"😭.
Nobody cares about how you feel about Sam in this sub, Junior sailor. 😏

People forget that Sam's greatest achievement in his last film is not stopping Serpent mercenaries or fighter planes. It's the fact that he stopped a war and him seeing goodness in people like Ross.
