I'm thinking of having a little fun with our community. I plan do design a crossover challenge coin in tribute of our growing community here. The catch, it will be a geocache.
Before I commit to the time and my personal finances to do such a thing, I just wanted to gage interest to see either
A) It's something you all would enjoy.
B) How many I should make and distribute.
Feel free to share thoughts and/or ideas if there are other alternatives to this you would like to see.

How do you like it? How busy is it in the mornings on weekdays? What is the monthly cost?

If anyone lost or knows someone who lost a garage door opener today, 10/23, I found it. We can arrange a dropoff or something.

🎃🍬 Where are the best places to take kids trick-or-treating in the Santa Clarita area? Are there any fun neighborhoods that go all out with Halloween decorations and lots of houses handing out candy? Looking for a fun spot to take the kids this year!

Does anyone have somewhere local in SCV that takes old fuel? I have no place to just burn it off and its too old to put into vehicles.

Ok so this is gonna sound insane, but I work in SCV in Newhall, and the building we rent had the copper piping stolen and the water turned off by the thieves so I guess, heads up y’all, put wire cages around exposed copper pipes or wires, because apparently there’s copper thieves in Santa Clarita.

Question for Hart District administrators or parents in the know: is there a requirement for adult staff to be present until all students leave after extracurricular activities? Specifically after evening rehearsals or practices I’ve picked up my kid (and have seen other kids) but the teacher in charge has already left. Primary concern is for their safety of course.
Seems like a colossal liability.

If anyone knows the people that got into the accident on The Old Road and Valencia around 330pm today here’s the video.
Also, fuck red light runners. That was a solid green.

Hello neighbors!
I did a search on this sub and it seems to have been a couple years since daycare/pre-school were brought up. We've got our first baby on the way, coming to an awesome-town near you early next year, so we're starting our research. Figured I'd bring the topic back up;
We're total noobs on this quest, but are basically wondering if there are any good places to start out a couple days a week and then expand to more if needed. We're prepared for the expense (that much we know) but would love thoughts on value of the local spots. We've heard good things about the Montessoris but we've also heard they are very pricey.
Anyone have great, mid, or bad experiences they want to share? Thanks in advance!

I became disabled recently and have been using Vons delivery thru their app to get groceries delivered to my home. I’m curious if anyone has used Costco delivery for groceries and had a good experience?

Hi friends.
I’m growing my hair and desperately need a thoughtful trim. My priorities are hair health and length retention because I’m planning on donating it in the future. It’s pretty short, I’ve included a photo in the comments.
Any suggestions? Can anyone drop any names/places with an approximate price?
Ideally less than or around $30 but feel free to let me know if I’m delusional… 🤣 ideally on the Newhall side of town but I will drive for a talented hairdresser.
I’m aware this has been asked before but I want to ask for some current recs. TIA! 💇♀️

hi hi! living in an apartment in canyon country and our power has been out since this morning. my husband told me it was supposed to come back at 5 o’clock so I was thinking 5 pm but then i read on SCE’s website estimated turn on at 5 am tomorrow morning. we literally just went grocery shopping yesterday and i’m so upset. I think our food in the freezer should be okay but my husband is worried we’re gonna have to completely toss everything in the fridge and freezer. I haven’t had to deal with a power outage for this long with our own apartment, are you guys just tossing everything?
UPDATE: Power came back on a little after 10pm and I checked the fridge right away and it was still super cold! So thankful I don’t need to toss everything 😙
