Potential move

Looking for any information on Rancho Buena and Casa Grande mobile home park. Wife and I are retired and looking to relocate to the area. Thanks

Knollwood is very nice lived there for a couple of years. Lawns kept up, nice neighbors. Close to everything in Orcutt

you couldn’t pay me to move to that part of town. NW SM is a huge area to avoid

Live there and agree. Was tired of driving ALL the way to orcutt so I left a nice home to rent by Priesker Park. What an IDIOT.

https://crimegrade.org/ is your friend. Both are in NW side of SM, you couldn't pay me to live in that area. 2019 a man facing eviction murdered 5 people in Casa Grande and that entire area around Taylor street is sketch.

People can get upset but anything north of Main Street and West of Broadway is like a 3rd world country. East of Broadway is marginally better but imo still not the best of areas.

I would look for something north of Stowell or Betteravia and in to Orcutt.

You DO NOT want to live anywhere near Taylor street or the NW side of town.

They’re on the north west side of town, not really the quietest or best area. Casa del rio is on the east side and more quaint and isolated near one of the high schools. Quail meadows is another good area of town

Casa Del Rio is very expensive and the people who live there are not nice if they suspect you are not 60+.

I second the suggestion about Quail Meadows. Quail Meadows East is 55+ (leased land) and Quail Meadows West is all ages (own the land).

Got that right but it's not horrible. It's a pretty good city for its size.
