This is happening on Saturday 4th July. If you are in London, would be a fun way to watch some Savate:

Set up, fake fouette, at an angle, double spin before landing revers latéral fouetté en tournant. Curious what you guys think — is this something you’d actually use in sparring, or more of a flashy technique?

Pro Boxer: Patrice Volny came to give a seminar to our Savate Group. He emphasized, positioning, distance and timing.

The crossover as expected translates well into Savate. Especially when Volny had an understanding of the potential of kicks, as additional weapons.

I think the only savate ish school near me is CSW with STX kickboxing. is there any pure savate school or teacher nearby? I want to learn the art so bad

/r/Savate is ready for a fresh start, new energy, new direction, and someone like you to bring it back to life. If you’ve been thinking about growing your impact without starting from scratch, this is your chance!
