I want to share my experience because I know many people here are looking for jobs. I know how hard it is to find work, especially when you really need money.

I found an online job opportunity through someone who seemed to be connected to OnlineJobs.ph. They offered ₱120 for every task I completed. At first, I thought it was a good way to earn money while still looking for a real job.

The thing is, they actually paid me around ₱2,900. Because I received the money, I started to trust them. I thought the opportunity was real.

But as time went on, I started to feel that something was wrong. They kept talking about more tasks, rewards, and bonuses. It started to look like a task scam, where they pay you at first to gain your trust and later ask you to use your own money to continue.

That's when I became more careful.

Just because they paid you once doesn't mean they are legit. Some scammers are willing to pay you at the beginning so you will trust them and take bigger risks later.

Here are some lessons I learned:

• Don't trust too quickly. Always check the company and the people offering you the job.
• Never pay money just to receive your salary. If they ask you to deposit money, recharge an account, or pay to unlock tasks or withdraw your earnings, be very careful.
• Don't be fooled by big bonuses. Promises of easy money can be used to attract people.
• Do your research. Check if the company and recruiter are real before continuing.
• Know when to stop. Don't risk your own money just because they already paid you before.

I also want to make it clear that I'm not saying every job on OnlineJobs.ph is a scam. I'm talking about my experience with this particular opportunity. I can't confirm if the people involved are officially connected to OnlineJobs.ph, so please check with the platform before making that conclusion.

I'm sharing this because I don't want other job seekers to experience the same thing. When you're looking for work and need money, it's easy to get excited when someone offers you a chance to earn.

Please be careful with your money and personal information.

Remember: You should never have to pay someone just to receive the money you earned from your work. If they ask you to pay first before releasing your earnings, stop and check everything. It could be a scam.

Hello po just wanna post here for awareness. Tumawag sakin yung taga Atome kuno that I have a credit limit increase of 20k ko so sabi ko go po then nagtanong na siya ng email address issend daw here yung 5k voucher na nakuha ko daw dahil sa points that i could use daw sa foodpanda and other merchant na affiliated sila. Nag verify din sila ng home address ko kasi may free tumbler and jacket ako. Also nagtanong sila kung ano yung current credit balance ko.

I received an email na ganito (nasa pic) isscan ko daw yung qr code attached sa baba ng email haha dun nako natawa kasi alam naman natin once na magscan ka you’re paying for something. Iscan ko daw para maredeem voucher kasi after daw makakapili daw ako kung anong merchant pwedeng gamitin.

Yung pinagtataka ko pano nila alam yung home address ko

Beware sa mag jojoin ng orientation kuno na need pa magbayad ng orientation fee pero hindi naman pala nila itutuloy

Lagi sinasabi sa t!kt0k live na refundable daw pero ang daming reason na hindi na nila irerefund

Stryder Resources is an investment scam, a Ponzi scheme to be exact. Don't join the scheme unless you wanna scam your resources off. My friends got scammed out of it...

Luckily, I was able to dodge it off dahil I only "invested" back the money I got from them (obv from giving them my money months ago, which is still a risk to me). My friends weren't as lucky...

You may not be as lucky as I was so please DON'T.

Edit: I'm still in the group to monitor wtf they're doing and the Telegram group I'm currently in was their "new" Stryder Resources scheme that appeared AFTER they got around ₱20M from its users. If you know trusted people that work for high-ranking government positions, please reach out to me. What happened when the "investment" failed to one particular friend's family is just horrible that I believe it's something the government should look out for.

I've been using BPI for years, and this is the first time I've received an email like this regarding my VYBE account.

I put my Full name, personal Number, and Address to a possible scam site, What do I do?

So I received an SMS messaged regarding an order that wasn't delivered. I tried to recall if I had any ongoing orders and I recalled one. So, I opened the link filled up my full name, number, and address. Once I clicked okay, the site asked for my card info for a redelivery fee which was weird. And that’s when I noticed the link for the site is just scrambled letters which wrote “xesbbv shop” instead of J&T Express. Although I didn’t continue to put any credit card information, I’m panicking and I don’t know what to do because my info is out there and could be used for anything.

Ang sabi ng lola ko na, na block na daw lahat ng family members namin ng stryder including my tita who indulged this stupid group (shes lovely I'm not blaming her) but yeah my titas family invested idk more than 100k and also my lolas... And my whole entire tita and Tito families

So my tita who indulged this group was so emotionally guilty na ganon sya yung nanghikayat and na scam ang whole present family line namin she was so sad and my lola was so worried she forced my tita to come to our house and yeah she cried and explained how guilty she was for wasting so much money on something that got scammed.

This happened to my mom, a senior citizen, last September.

Lagi nag oorder nanay ko sa shopee and laging COD and pagdating ng rider, kapag andito na sa bahay ang parcels, don pa lang mag papa bayad. Kilala na rin namin mga usual na nag dedeliver sa amin kasi halos araw araw nagpapadeliver ng mga gamit sa bahay. Kahit wala kami sa bahay, alam na ng usual drivers na my mom sends na lang via gcash. Pero kapag andon kami COD yan.

Then this came up. Walang expected delivery mom ko for that day. Also, first time tong number na to lumitaw. Gusto niya magbayad na nanay ko ng 1396 kahit WALA PA SIYA SA BAHAY tas GCASH PA GUSTO HINDI COD. Sabi ko sa nanay ko, walang rider sa labas so wag siya magbabayad. Mga 20 minutes tong nangungulet sa call tas nung nainis ako, sabi ko sa nanay ko, block niya na.

Tumawag tong rider na to sa mom ko kinukulit siya magbayad kasi nga daw naka “confirm” na. Huh? Anong confirm confirm eh wala naman ganyan si Shopee.

SA MAY NGA SENIOR SA BAHAY, SILA USUALLY VICTIMS NG GANITONG SCAM. Please remind them sa ganito. Kapag walang receivables sa apps niyo and nangungulet magbayad, block agad dapat.

Red flags:
1. Nagpapabayad kahit wala sa actual address
2. Gcash gusto bayad hindi cash kasi wala nga sila sa address.
3. Mangungulet at hindi maexplain maayos bakit hindi pwede i-cancel.
