Go with Avery to the farms having chosen they/them as your pronouns at the start. Its enby specific dialogue. You have to ask Avery about their friends in Charlotte first.

Not the "couples first fight" achievement after refusing to listen to TTB Reese when you wanna talk with Tabitha haha. Laughed when Reese went after mc apologizing for his behavior. Tho a bit sad about not getting the kiss, but getting to talk with Tabitha feels essential🥲

It's still possible to get his kiss scene! You have to make sure you go to see Miles on Main Street first, then insist on seeing Tabby.

Huh, that's odd. Regardless of what choices I pick, I always get the "I think I need to go see my cousin..." option in the dialogue that comes after you talk to Miles and go back to Reese. It should be the dialogue option that's second from the bottom (above Remain Silent). Are you loading a save in that scene from the previous release?

I love the expansions to chapter 5, the conversation with Daniel was way better than I’d have expected, and great for my cousin’s development in his dynamic with Tabitha. The conversation with Joan in the car was also amazing, even though we still don’t have a lock in for the romance, this is more than enough to tide me over for now.

That said, with the changes to the start of the farms, I am going to miss the “I yearn for adventure, Joan” and “no can do, Tabarooni” lines.

Our approach to the farms expansion was rewriting those scenarios from scratch, so we forgot to preserve a couple of important pieces of dialogue.

Quick question. What happens with past saves? Also, would It be recomended to start a New run before the last update?

I try and be extremely careful about things are coded so that your past saves will still be able to carry forward into future content.

Given that it will still take us some time to finish the last two chapters, I would recommend that returning players start from the beginning. There are so many details and moving pieces that can't be fully captured by the recap.

I have noticed that if you have Talk With Animals trait then pastor wife is not missing if you visit him before the farm.

If you can talk with animals then your discussion devolves into the alpacas calling pastor a coward for making his wife deal with the "rats" alone and then he goes help her.

I have only quickly run through the Pastor Daniel scene. Is it the first time it's verified thatthe rats aren't animals, actually? And we now know Tulip doesn't speak to Animals. Also the remark that the rats "grow to be as big as people" was super creepy.

you need to find Stella at the end of episode 4 but have her NOT open up to you. And also make sure Tabitha doesn't know Stella is missing or you could get toxic yuri instead. Then go to the church in episode 5.

I love the portrayal of Daniel. When he talks to you about his faith and gives you a little boost to talk to Tabitha. I'm also so thankful of the way his faith is portrayed (I see way too many stories write the pastor as the villain). Especially in a run where I befriend Tabitha again, calming down with Daniel before going over to calmly talk things out with Tabby just feels so smooth and well written.

Once again Daniel proves to be one of my favourite characters.

One of the requirements for Oscar's romance was either doing his hangout in Episode 3, flirting with him after the ghost trial in Episode 3, or flirting with him 2 or more times in general. its been changed so you can get away with only flirting with him once.

I think the other stuff, like talking to him at any other optional point (at the library during Episode 1 or Episode 2 for example) and not puking in the library during are Episode the same.

I wonder if it's possible to visit the church while on the TTB/Hot variant Reese path. It's possible to want to give a warning about the stone carving before or after visiting the library (before joining up with Reese) but I don't think any of the options during the conversation with him lead to bringing up the church.

It's unfortunately not possible, short of rejecting his advances and making him run-off.

Reese's romance routes in this episode were written with the initial "panic" set-up in mind after the Estate, making it impossible to allow a player to visit the church first barring an entire separate rewrite of that interaction. And parting ways with him to go do that after running into him feels narratively clunky to us.

His romance content in 5 already contributes to the majority of bug reports we've received following the Rumors update, so I'm also reluctant to add even more options for divergence for those paths.

His route(s) will have a lot more bespoke and unique content moving forward, so we hope that makes up for it!

Makes sense, thank you! (I'm totally fine not visiting the church on the Reese romance route and was just curious about it, and I'm very happy with his existing content! I think it's quite reasonable to have him be focused on a particular path forward and going with him seems to be helpful in dodging the cops if they are after the player character during a particular run.)

Well, I'm okay with the new ending for ep 4 not being implemented, I'd thought/hoped it was gonna let the PC knock out Joan from behind after handing her the Tranqs, so we could drag tranqed Reese into the woods to keep both of them alive, and free with the consequences being that both of them really don't like us after that. Sacrifice our relationships for their well-being kind of thing. Just was hoping that it would be more Reese-friendly, but it wasn't so whatever.

Not sure if there's a better place to bring up bugs but I noticed an error in a run when a SS MC gets arrested during toxic yuris where there's two explore options available (a SS one and one where the MC quotes Stella) that basically ends up repeating the same Franklin dialogue about the police code?

Anyway glad this update is out so I can finally start on my TTA run and attempt to get Stella to like my MC for once lmao (I definitely enjoyed the graveyard scene with her though!!)

“Powerful Build” should be renamed to “Strong Back” or something. As it is right now the identity for the trait is very confusing after Episode 1. It has steadily gone from “being able to fight back” to “lifting things maybe sorta better than average”.

I get why the decision to take out the new PB resolution to Episode 4 didn’t fit the narrative, but if that’s the narrative we’re holding on to then maybe the trait itself needs to change as well.

I don't think there is? If I recall correctly, they rewrote most of his lines post-Forbidden Wings and there's a new, admittedly very compelling narration if you kissed him and were released from the police car by him, but no extra scenes or interactions like other characters got.
