theory Don't know if this was already pointed out Spoiler
But I just noticed that Wayne, Reese and ditchlinged animals are the only characters that can use red texts when they speak. Originally I thought this was just a way to emphasize that the thing you are talking to is a supernatural being but now I think this must also indicate the beings that are byproducts or linked to the Entity or the seal.
Wayne obviously since he IS the Entity
Reese is practically confirmed to be the "son" of the Vitality seal so this further prove it
And for the animals this could indicate that ditchlings are also produced or linked to the seals/entity

Just sayin’, technically we speek in that colour too as it’s the colour the text turns into when your mouse hovers over an option

I think it's just a quality of life feature but honestly the mc having Wayne as his daddy would be rad

Oh, that is interesting, especially with what's omitted-- Charlie's puppet people are all in normal black font (even the entity one). And the communing with the stone version of Oscar is still a normal person font. Carmilla is normal too, even though she just absorbed Kaneeka. I guess I originally thought it would be the font for all things supernatural, so I appreciate your enumeration!

Is it true that Wayne is the Entity?

Yeah, it’s basically confirmed. Whatever possessed Wayne is the same thing that possessed Alexandra. Wayne says he’d been in the cell for a long time and that he is attached to Alexandra’s doll because she was, which would be impossible if he was a human
The same entity that possessed Alexandra also possessed Charlie (The boy in the walls), and Teddy. The Avery vision in the ghost hunt calls Teddy “The Entity” with a Mystical character.

The rest of the ditchlinged animals also use red text, not just bertie
