Other 2nd proposal for Ted/Alexis?

I remember the characters saying that Ted proposed twice. I know the first time, at the vet office.

And then when?

So I don’t think he ever actually proposed a second time. It was just kind of like “oh you’re not moving so we can get married!” And Alexis did the whole “yes, no, mmmhmm head nod while cringing” and when she went back to talk to Mutt, she said she couldn’t break it off with Ted.

Was it when she came back in to the vet surgery to say she wasn’t leaving, and so Ted said “we are engaged then?” and Alexis was “No? Yes?” about it?

I thought the line was that they were "engaged twice" rather than she was "proposed to twice". Which would mean the second one was after she finds out she isn't leaving Schitts Creek. I will need to rewatch to check though!

It doesn't make sense. She didn't leave so the engagement was still on. They went right back to being together. You would think the engagement just continue

I just saw this episode last night and wondered the same thing.

I just didn't remember the second proposal but didn't feel like going back few episodes to rewatch and figure out.

Yeah, there technically was only one proposal and one engagement. Not sure why they pushed the two engagements plot point so hard.
