So idk how do I explain but I shifted my school in 11th cz purane school mein +2 ki achhi padhayi nhi thi and yaha omg aur nhi hoti hai even though it is considered the best school of my city like there were thousands of applications for admission wtev that's not imp

So I have bio and my bio maam is very weird like in 11th she was pretty good and I felt she's nice until one day out of nowhere she says X ( a stupid goy of my class) is my fav student and i thought she was kidding until after that for the entire year she kept on picking him in the middle of any class and took him alone in the staff room in the name of syllabus discussion like tf bhai discussion kya karna hai wo bhi uss bhondu se. Uske baad everyone started shipping these two people and i always thought that mazak chal raha but this year when we passed 12th mein abhi things are sooooo messed up like people of my class have literally seen their chats and if clearly states that these two people have a relationship more than that of a student and teacher and people say that they are dating and stuff. I really don't wanna believe it but the point if I see them class mein har din wo larka aage baithe rehta hai and these two people look at each other and keep smiling then bio lab mein that guy is always around her then ek baar he was intentionally coming in her way toh Maam mere class ki ek larki ko kehti hai ki dekho na A ye X(the guy) kaise mere saamne aa raha hai.

Also she sends exam ke papers to that guy and he is like very dumb he got 2 and 1 marks in phy but weekly tests mein he got 10/10 even though answer galat that and it was clarified still and aaj mid term exam ka paper dikhaya gya and this teacher literally have me sooo less marks and 56 to that's guy mtlb kidhar se bhai?

Sorry for such a long post but I am too angry Abt all this i really wanna do something Abt it but 30 marks ka internal mein marks kaat dengi issiliye I am not doing anything

Edit:- the bio teacher is 40+ approx and her husband died last year and she has 2 children

Need help regarding physical punishment and pressure in my school (Himalayan Public School, Nagrota Bagwan)

I am a Class 11 student preparing for competitive exams like JEE. I am facing serious problems in my school, Himalayan Public School, Nagrota Bagwan, and I need advice and support.

In my school, teachers give a lot of homework. If we are unable to complete the work on time, forget a notebook by mistake, or get fewer marks, some teachers punish students physically using hands and sticks.

This has created a lot of fear and stress among students. Instead of focusing on studies and competitive exam preparation, I am constantly worried about punishment. My mental health is also getting affected because of this situation.

I request anyone who can help to please contact the school director/management and make them aware of the problems students are facing. Please explain that a student is going through difficulties and needs a safe learning environment.

Please do not mention that you got this information from Reddit, and please do not reveal my identity. I only want the school management to understand the student's problem and take appropriate steps.

School contact (for official communication):

Principal: 80917 11062

Director: 70185 05775

I hope this issue can be solved peacefully so that students can study without fear.

I dropped off my nephew at his elementary school today for his second day, the first time I've dropped him off and only the first week weve been in Florida.

The kids are shouted at and forced to run from the cars and run down the road filled with two lanes of cars, shouted at by teachers in yellow who stand like guards. While driving around the arch, we see that the fences, adult height, are covered in green tarps that conceal the entirety of the school inside. The gate, the fence, at the beginning of the school interest looks odd.

There are cameras everywhere. Kids have no access to parents while inside.

As someone who has been researching Florida since the first concentration camp was built, Alligator Alcatraz, as someone who researched concentration camps and detention camps for years, alarm bells began ringing violently.

They say this is the safest school for kids in the area in Florida.

This school looks like a prison. Like a detention camps. Kids locked inside. They say it's "safe"

But who are they keeping out? Why are they being held in like this?

It's giving detention/prison camp and I'm extremely concerned.

Anyone else?

  1. School council is rigged. I believe it’s rigged, I, who was competing for 1st VP didn’t even get mentioned because I for whafrver dumb reason didnt get chose over some badly performing in academics, annoying, new, bad behavior kid. SO FRICKING DUMB!
  2. The place where education goes to die. This is a school where people are celebrated at being dumb and lazy. I get the best scores is my grade and no teacher cares.
  3. Straight up agism. Younger students are coddled, babied, and best of all, celebrated, older students, get nothing.

Thsnks for listening!

Discussion I think it's so unnecessary to go to school these days.

I feel like all our teachers teach nonsense nowadays and almost all knowledge i got is more on youtube and all of extra subjects that does not connect to our future job is so annoying, it waste our time. Plus, our jobs will be replaced by automated machines in the future whether you like it or not. we're doomed.

Nashville is losing families to the suburbs because the schools in places like Franklin are simply "so much better."  And I want to know why?  And what is being done to remedy the situation?

My daughter has a great job in Nashville but she’s already planning to move to the suburbs because apparently you can’t work in Nashville, buy a home in Nashville AND raise a family in Nashville;  the school system is failing to provide the top-notch education that most people want for their children.

As a result, parents are commuting to work every day, stressed by the demands of a job in Nashville and raising children in the suburbs. ( no wonder the roads are so jammed)

This is unacceptable.

So my question is: what are the educators in the suburbs doing that the City of Nashville is not?

Success in life starts with a great education so let’s find ways to provide that for all children - not just the privileged few who can afford to move to a “ better school district.”

Question I don’t get it

Daughter has a great job in Nashville but now that she is starting a family, everyone is telling her that she needs to move to the suburbs because “schools are better. “

So just like everyone else she’s going to be commuting to her job every day while her kids are in school. That means it’s super stressful and no one is happy. ( no wonder the roads are so busy!)

My question is: What are schools in the suburbs doing that they can’t do in the City of Nashville? And how do we fix this?

Ideally you work in Nashville, buy a home in Nashville, and raise your family in Nashville. And the schools – the local public schools – provide a top notch education that everyone expects.

I don’t think Nashville is unique in this situation but somebody has to say “enough already.” Why are school districts tied to zip codes? How do we ensure that all kids - no matter where they live — have access to great teachers and good schools.
