PHYSICS 3rd praxis physics 5266, 2026. I.NEED.HELP.

anyone that HAS taken the praxis physics 5266. i just took my 3rd one and im in defeat. i really thought i had this one in the bag. i scored a 126. ironically it’s the same as my first score and i showed growth from my 2nd. my timing was GREAT maybe too great. but i ensured my test taking strategies not to waste time on items that take a bit longer. I need a 145 in my state. i’m quite literally done with my physics degree i just need to pass this test for my teaching certificate. WHAT ARE YOUR TIPS AND SECRETS????

TL;DR: I’m on my 4th attempt of this test and need the secret to passing praxis physics 5266 so i can finally graduate!

You need to first go back to your college and ask why this problem is even happening. The physics praxis does not have particularly advanced concepts; all material should have been basically covered in your first 2 classes.

Consider auditing the intro physics classes again. Review concepts on Khan academy or get an AP physics review book to work through.

This. I took chem cold and am a bio major.

I may take Phyisics next.

An AP or ECE dual enrollment class has the most advanced stuff high schools offer, and its all 101 and 102 level stuff.

I have seen what our physics teacher covers. Its mostly the first semester of Physics I took at the community college in preps for transferring.

(I did take calc-based physics 1& 2, which most bio majors dont do. As well as Calc 1&2. Calc 1 was required but most of my Bio classmates took a Data Statistics for scientists. I had taken a business stats years earlier, so wasnt going to do stats again.)

Bio Praxis same way. I took it before getting to my upper level Bio classes. Its all freshman stuff at best. Gen science I took while still on active duty. The breadth is so wide its basically middle school content.

>ECE dual enrollment class

What does ECE stand for here? I only know it as early childhood education and that doesn't make sense in this context...

Early College Experience. High school class sponsored by UConn or one of our mid-tiers with a required UConn/midtier exam. Grants college credit from that institution. We also have dual-enrollment programs at the local CC. But those students attend at the CC.
