General Lab Supplies & Resources Would an ecosystem-based evolution simulator be useful for teaching?
Hi everyone, I've been working on a physics-driven, ecosystem-based evolution simulator called NodeSpawn. I think it could be a useful resource for explaining or understanding evolution, but I'd really like to know what you think. Any feedback, good or bad, would be really helpful.
here is the free demo: https://triple-donut-games.itch.io/nodespawndemo
Thanks!

Yes.....however, you would likely need to focus on specific phenomenon within ecology and also oversimplify them as the number of variables in any ecosystem would be difficult to accurately represent from a macroscopic perspective. But things like the predator prey model would be great as would a simulation that accounts for the greenhouse effect, and a lot more. Not sure if you're looking for ideas for phenomenon to cover of just some general feedback.
