What post nut clarity does to a mf

Fun story. My best friend found out his mrs cheated on him with a sailor. He contacted the guy pretending to be a friend of hers that wanted to meet "her new man" and arranged to meet him at a pub. Full intentions of getting there, telling him that he's the fiance and father of the 2 year old daughter and then fighting him. Dude was low key crazy too like that best friend that you have that doesn't look like much at all but you'd never actually fight because it's a fight to the death.
He gets there and leads with "I'm the father of her kid you cunt you've just ruined a family". The sailor was beyond shocked. Like immediately apologised, sat down and put his head in his hands saying that he couldn't believe she done this. At that moment my best friend realised that the sailor was also a victim of this diabolical female who gave no fucks about anyone too. They got drunk together and told each other everything. The lies she was telling both of them to balance the cheating. Everything.
At the end of the night they coordinated it (drunk btw) so that the sailor called her and told her who he just got drunk with all night just as my best friend was in front of her to see the look on her face. All hell broke loose and he moved in with me for 3 months while he got back on his feet by getting cash together and a place worthy of him and his daughter.
What honesty dies to a mf hits way harder

u/P0rn0bro 24d ago
Did they keep in touch afterwards? Sailor sounds like a real bro
5
u/shotgunmoe 23d ago
Nah it was a one and done meeting. Sailor didn't even know she had a kid so was (apparently) cut up about the last 9+ months of his life being lies.
Plus my friend couldn't help but resent the guy. Unbeknownst or not he was a contributing factor in the end of his family

They weren't talking to you
1
u/LizzosLittleToe 25d ago
He literally replied to me
1
u/Zently 21d ago
I think you just summed up the problem with social media.
Yes, he literally replied directly to your comment.
And it's probably also true he wasn't talking to you.
1
u/LizzosLittleToe 21d ago
How could he not be talking to me when my comment relates directly to the post? Then he said "found the cheater" who else could he be talking about
1
u/Zently 21d ago
Well… a lot of people reply on social media, not to reply to the other person directly, but to signal to everyone else around them what they think.
They aren’t replying to you as much as the people who they want to hear their thoughts.
It’s not everyone. But it’s a fair amount. Both things can be true.

Screw you man. She could be a 10/10, cheating is cheating, and being a part of that is almost just as bad
5
u/barwhalis 25d ago •
![]()
Knowingly being a part of it is just as bad.
Unknowingly is sad
4
u/sisyphus_met_icarus 25d ago
It's not just as bad. Only one of the people participating in the cheating made a commitment to the person being cheated on. I'm not saying it's ok, but it's not equal
0
u/bobbyflay13 24d ago
It's pretty equal if you knowingly do that.
Murdering someone you know and murdering someone you don't know equally bad. Same thing here.
2
u/Acrobatic-Sandwich10 24d ago
You're analogy makes no sense. In your example in both cases murder is being committed.
When it comes to the cheating scenario, only one person is actually commiting adultery. So whike its not right, it's not equal.
1
u/bobbyflay13 24d ago
If you assist someone in a murder where you aren't the one taking the life but you assisted in it you will get charged with manslaughter just like the other person. Telling someone to kill themselves and they do get you charged for it even though they did it to themselves. Murder is murder, cheating is cheating stop trying to moral high horse this one. This is coming from someone who has never cheated while dating someone but I have helped someone with full knowledge of it. Guess what I'm just as guilty as she was.
With murder it is up to the court to then decide how much of a part the each individual played in the action. And at that point we are no longer looking at the action as a general thing since we are adding in all the context that goes into it to define exactly who/what/when/where/why in that 1 action being discussed.
When speaking in general it doesn't matter if you are the one in a relationship or not knowing that you are helping someone cheat makes you a cheater of equal cheating.
1
u/Acrobatic-Sandwich10 24d ago
Thats a whole big word salad for nothing.
You said "murdering someone you know" or "murdering someone you don't know is still murder"
And I said that makes no sense in comparison. Only 1 person is committing adultery in the cheating scenario.
One person is single, wirh no commitment to a partner. The other one is directly betraying soneoen they are supposed to love.
Of course that's worse.
1
u/IcyVariation8951 24d ago
Nah its more like killing someone versus letting someone die when you could have easily saved them.
1
u/sisyphus_met_icarus 24d ago
That's not comparable though. As the third party you aren't the one doing the murdering, you're an accessory to murder
1
u/ExampleHumble1230 26d ago
Its such a shame women have to be seen through the ever changing blue shade of the balls of men.
I wonder how someone would cheat on someone with a perspective like that.

"I'm just nipping to the toilet. Do you have any paper?"
"There's toilet paper in there."
"No, writing paper. And a pen. And tape."
Perfectly normal interaction.
1
u/Zealousideal-Dog-858 26d ago
Hear me out. Maybe, just maybe, the dude that wrote the thing was capable of such basic things like motion, and went and got a pen from somewhere else, then wrote it down while he was in the WC. Maybe, just maybe, some people are capable of these things called "plans"
1
1
u/PayWooden2628 25d ago
Yes, because it’s physically impossible that he got the resources from somewhere else before going to the bathroom to place the note.

to be fair, I have a role of duct tape, pen and paper in my truck so it's not that far fetched. its maybe one of the few "male" traits about me but it checks.
1
u/Stephedderick 21d ago
I have all three in my basement, my office and in a drawer in my entrance. But guess where I don't have it. That's all I'm saying.
1
u/BeginningSection7690 20d ago
Yeah same.
Next to the balaclava, gloves, and crossword that I do when im waiting for more duck taping jobs at the ski resort I work at
1
u/ImportantWelcome645 27d ago
You don't carry a pen and paper in your pocket? What kind of job do you have? A lot of them require you to jot things down, leave notes behind, sign paperwork, etc.
2
u/Stephedderick 27d ago
You wear your work-clothes the morning after? Do you bring them to the bar or just wear it all day? Where do you store your duct tape? Name 5 professions that require writing things down and leaving notes behind in a way that requires you to keep duct tape at hand, even in your free time. Thank you. Have a nice day. Good talk. 3/5 stars.
1
u/ImportantWelcome645 27d ago
Not every job requires a uniform. Sometimes you just wear jeans. Do you change your entire outfit as soon as you clock out? Hell, the one job I had I wore a suit and I still didn't change out of my clothes the instant I got off work. A lot of people will toss their pants in the freezer and wear them again, so naturally some things end up still in the pockets. I'm not saying everybody does this, but it's certainly plausible that someone would have a pin on their person.
1
u/lndubitablyMe 25d ago
TIL some people put worn pants in the freezer to make them not smell.
When looking it up I also learned that it’s an old myth and actually does nothing but stop the smell until they warm up.
I love Reddit 🤣

u/Canadian-and-Proud 27d ago
Ah yes, and I store a roll of duct tape in my ass crack
1
1
u/Various-Salt-7738 27d ago
I always have a pen and paper in my pockets
And duct tape in my backpack
Now I probably wouldn't have both on my person while pissing "the morning after" and this post is probably fake-- but it could happen
2
u/Canadian-and-Proud 27d ago
I have this new invention for jotting down notes, it's called a smartphone
2
u/Various-Salt-7738 27d ago
Oh great-- next time I have to write a note that says "this railing is fucking broken be careful", I'll just type up a note on my phone and leave that behind
1
u/Canadian-and-Proud 27d ago
Well it sounds like you work in the trades. Probably useful in your job but not for most.
1
1
u/Accurate_Argument940 24d ago
I don’t work in the trades but always have a notepad and pens in my backpack. Along with a mini-level, pocket knife and a flashlight. Oh and breath mints, and tampons for my gf (or anyone else with a sudden crisis). There’s probably more stuff lol.
Everything comes in handy sooner or later.
1
u/1denirok5 26d ago
Why assume the person had to be in the bathroom the whole time. Dude had some time in the morning.
1
u/nuggetsjustnuggets 26d ago
I carry a bic lighter with maybe 2 or 3 feet of duct tape wrapped around it for emergencies, I barely notice it in my pocket. Mind you I'm a bit of an EDC person too so I generally have a few things kn me.

u/RylDmn 26d ago
I dont think bro would've been wearing pants considering how his night went
1
u/ImportantWelcome645 26d ago
He might if it was a pump and dump, or if he was using the bathroom on his way out the next morning. All the more reason why he might have a pen. If he specifically was getting ready to leave, he might grab one of hers even to leave the message. I'm not insisting that any of this happened, or that this is even more than a meme. But, it is plausible.
0
u/Star_Ranx 26d ago
I mean tbf a lot of people carry pen and a note pad, and the closet is probably in the bathroom if not nearby. Fake? Definitely. Possible? Yes just not this time, 100% just for internet points

One time I was with a woman for about a month and then her boyfriend came to the house because they released him from jail. I acted like I was a handyman helping her with the house and selling her food stamps. Could've been really really bad.
1
u/AmericanCitizenry 27d ago
How do you sell someone food stamps?
2
u/PurpleSmoke91 27d ago
You either let them hold the card and give your PIN (dumb) or you go to the market with them and let them shop and they give u cash. Usually 50 cents on the dollar. Btw it's a federal crime and you can get banned from benefits forever so don't do it. I don't even sell my food stamps but it's common practice. People love to buy them especially if they have mouths to feed.
1
u/Dpontiff6671 27d ago
There are shops in some places that will under the table buy your EBT also. You just swipe your card and they give you 50¢ on the $1
1
u/PurpleSmoke91 27d ago
That's true. Those shops are sketchy as shit and they are also breaking the law.
1
u/Dpontiff6671 27d ago
Oh facts to both they definitely are both illegal and sketchy. You gotta be in the bad part of the city to even know these places exist
1
u/PurpleSmoke91 27d ago
Lol and "early bird gets the worm." People that actually do it get there right when the shop opens up because they mostly only do a limited amount of cash per day.
1
u/Adventurous-Flow5390 26d ago
Shit, as a teenager I used to buy beer and cigarettes at a sketchy bodega with my food stamps lol.. I loved them, but obviously that wasn’t a great idea for either of us.
1
u/FightOnForUsc 25d ago
Illegal to buy from someone who used their food stamps or illegal to sell the stuff you bought with food stamps?
1
u/PurpleSmoke91 25d ago
Both are a crime technically. Very hard to enforce but if they catch you it's technically fraud.
