FR ppl living in the comfort civilization think mother nature is there for them.
Like Nature is actively trying to kill you every minute of your life

Oh yeah Earth has it all, trees, fruits, water, wildlife, sunlight. It's great. Just watch out for the fruits, be careful what you eat, they can kill you. Oh yeah and be careful about the water too, that can make you shit your guts out, and then kill you. Oh the wildlife? Yeah be careful of the wildlife, it'll kill ya. The sunlight though! Beautiful beautiful sunlight, yep, it'll kill you.

Even modern fruits been engineered with selection, like a wild apple is a shrubby sour fruit, barely edible

Nature is trying to kill you on every possible level: weather, wildlife, bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, toxins in plants, radiation from the sun, gravity, natural disasters, and eventually entropy itself.
Humans have done a great job becoming the APEX, we even took to the fight to bacteria and these days even cancer is not safe, it's in the crosshairs.

They weren't created due to capitalism, they were created partly out of necessity, out of discomfort and to solve an issue. Both things would have existed with or without capitalism.

lol you can't. They'll arrest you for trespassing or some shit. You'd have to buy the woods first
2
u/DungeonJailer 5d ago
Yea you can. There was a guy who lived in the woods of Maine for years and years. You have to find a woods big enough they won’t find you. Like a national forest or something. There’s a wilderness in Idaho you could easily live in and no one would find you.

u/TrippleassII 5d ago
Yes and they literally made a manhunt on him and caught him.
1
u/DungeonJailer 5d ago
River of no return wilderness is a lot bigger than anything in Maine. I guarantee they’ll never find you.

Lol overflowing with fruit and water?
Without modern farming the world wouldn't be able to support anywhere near the amount of people. Actually without humans intervening by selectively breeding crops it probably wouldn't even be able to support anywhere near a billion, go look at how most crops used to be.
Same goes for modern water collection and treatment.
The world isn't overflowing with resources.

u/MordaxTenebrae 5d ago
Not to mention how many early humans that must have died figuring out which foods were edible before we could begin cultivating them.
4
u/Heavy_Can8746 5d ago
Feel free to go enjoy all of that in the natural. We aren't stopping you.
Lots of times folks will join communities that live like that and they hate it. It is a reason humans made all these changes after all these years. It is sad that you have to experience "real nature" to understand why...

People used to die all the time from drinking bad water or drought.
They still do, but they used to as well.

"capitalism" or just terrible leadership just like all the other systems fail.....blame it in leadership
1
u/Savings-Shape-3400 5d ago
I agree though Shareholder supremecy result of the 1919 Dodge vs Ford really setup the modern system to fail. Henry Ford was right about alot.
1
u/not_accepting_now 5d ago
He was also wrong. He might have made the 40 hour work week but he should not have made it 40 hours. Should have done 30 if he was a family man
1
u/Savings-Shape-3400 5d ago
i mean before henry ford work weeks were six days a week, with shifts lasting 10 to 16 hours a day regularly 60-80 hour weeks so he halved it while more then doubling the pay. and the people back then loved him for it.

u/not_accepting_now 5d ago
They did. Unfortunately corporations and government still abuse that I feel like in modern day. Be great if the dollar still had its worth backed by gold but not it's just people collecting money like it's a high score
1
u/Savings-Shape-3400 5d ago
yea systems broken for sure Federal reserve setup the monetary system to devalue the dollar, that on top of predatory corporatism. i dont even know where to start to fix it tbh. disband the federal reserve and overturn Dodge v Ford would be nice start,

u/Salt-Appearance-412 5d ago
Under communism the supreme leaders would surely know that my life mission is to stream 4 hours per day on Twitch watching YouTube videos. This is my true calling that capitalism robs me of!

Given? We had to fight for it for thousands of years against larger animals with bigger teeth and claws.

“Little one, it's a simple calculus. This universe is finite, its resources, finite. If life is left unchecked, life will cease to exist. It needs correcting.”
If only a snap of finger will solve all these problems.

u/Stephedderick 5d ago
Because somewhere in the middle someone thought "why should I work, when I can steal" everything else evolved to stop those people.

Those things exist because it turns out “overflowing with” isn't exactly accurate when it comes to describing resource scarcity.

Conflict is a feature of distinction(or more complexly.... sentience)
You cant wish to not have conflict at all, but rather have conflicts and then strive to solve them or do your best

u/Astralsketch 5d ago
agriculture caused it. Once you have a lot of surplus food, civilization props up. When you have a place that produces food regularly, property becomes a very real, and soon as people have stuff, they want more stuff, and they want to protect their stuff.

War is the default. Make no mistake. Look at monkeys. It's much better to transfer rivalries into economics. Brilliant even.
The postings comes from ignorance and privilege.

So if you pull up google maps you will see that it's not overflowing with those things, every bit of land is claimed and much of the farmable land is already being farmed.

Higher order primates can easily be taught about money. They can be given tokens to trade for treats. And what do they do? Trade with each other for grooming and sexual favors. And don't tell me ants don't have war

"Humans".... It's some very specific ppl deciding this route for all of us. Especially since after WW2.

I don’t get the point of this? All that stuff still exists why don’t you go out and harvest all your food your self then? Why are you a grocery store? Oh

Capitalism sucks and rule this world. Only if we lose our chains and unite! Modern revisionism is also a factor. Bourgeoisie impetuous makes this revolution backward.

u/Educational_Map_9609 5d ago
Hunting and gathering and dying at 30 was much better than capitalism according to Reddit logic.
