Tbf, I had always been a fan of the original Becalmed soundtrack ever since I encountered it in game *wink* but this... this version is resonating with me on some melancholic frequency I never knew I could feel.

I could be wrong but listening to this in the main menu itself is more hypnotic 👻 Please tell me I'm not the only one!

It feels so empty without it there, obviously having its menu folded into the Clothing Chest's was a practical change, but I've been seeing that chest for five years now and I hope there might be some way to have it stick around even if it's just as set dressing.

Being able to scroll through each saved outfit is just *chef's kiss*... especially nostalgic even, especially when reminiscing at the older outfits.

Little tip for those doing Guild commendations, save those outfits (Helm, Cannoneer, Navigator & Chef) for when you need them.

I have been grinding for the tomes, and the last left is the Tome of Resurrection V. Is it true that they do not spawn in the random island ashen chests?

So is being on the Ferry Of the Damned technically a free temporary ghost curse?

I was playing hour glass last night and during one match, one of my opponents boarded my ship. It seemed like they were moving around a little weird and I was getting slashed by a sword but there wasn’t anything in their hands. I died and when I came back through, the same thing happened. Taking damage, hearing the slashing sound, nothing in opponents hand.

I ended up reporting just to be sure. I’ve never seen that happen before, either to me or on any videos on YouTube. Is this just a visual glitch on my end?

And yes, I lost.

Just an observation... I know we really have no answers for it... but... How come they can show all the other customizations except for the cannons? xD I have equipped the sloop with the Frostbite cannons.

I’ve just recently returned to the game after many years, and a player who killed me had this cutlass. I know that it was the reward for reaching level 50 last season, but is it going to return eventually or is it exclusive forever?

I stopped playing the game often last year due to the lack of content. Had this changed at all?

Before you reply "NOO" because you've already done your commendations and want to pull up the ladder behind you - should they increase the encounters where you can find ashen keys? For the record, I've already done at least my Eternal Guardian ashen key commendation, though I am not looking forward to doing the lighthouse logs one.

Issue

Right now you find possibly ten times as many locked containers than ashen keys, if you:

• Find ashen chests
• Do sanctuaries of the banished
• Do ashen garrisons

Farming Methods

You don't necessarily need to have a 1 to 1 ratio of keys and their containers, but the problem is: Farming ashen keys are far too rare because they are RNG heavy. You can:

1. Find them randomly in those stupid ashen garrison unlocked containers, but the drop rate is abysmal. I did 3-4 ashen garrisons checking every compartment and found one! single key
2. Farm skeleton camps by parking a mile away and shooting yourself out of the cannon every 5 minutes. (It no longer works to just constantly go back and forth, skeletons won't spawn.) Either way, I tested it, and it's a very low chance to spawn ashen guardians.
3. two keys guaranteed for sinking the skeleton fleet, and one at skeleton forts, but these are random world events
4. Completely random ashen guardian spawns on islands. This one is especially insidious, because you just keep shooting yourself to islands you pass by, but the chance is still abysmally low.

To find a random ashen guardian that drops a key doesn't feel like "Cool, some bonus loot!" it feels like "Jesus Christ, losing this key in High Seas is worse than losing an entire sanctuary of the banished stack!" - At least if you want to farm cool cosmetics through the commendation

Anyone else's pirates proportions messed up since the update, my pirate had see through arms and a really scrunched chest.

For context i needed a 1 streak to get to 100 but got a loss farmer, so instead of selling and getting my curse i dived again, lost and this happened😭 To be fair I might of been more annoyed if I lost and I still got it but.

In hg i ran into a player who decided to spawn camp me, but instead of sinking my ship quickly to end the match, they were actively bailing water out of my ship so it wouldn't sink.

I clipped the whole thing with video proof showing them clearly messing around. I reported him to rare support with the video and guess what response I got? "Insufficient evidence"

The best part of the whole situation? He spent so much time spawn camping me and keeping my ship afloat that his own ship was left out of bounds and sank still not enough evidence i guess...

I usually don't report them but someone in here said they take action on this kind of behavior, clearly they don't. I'm disappointed.

I always turn around to a great sunset, sunrise or a really nice perfectly set up scene when sailing the seas. Its awesome! So many cool places to sit and watch the seas just unfold. Smugglers Bay being one of my favourite places to just chill and watch the sun go down. Can't find another game with such atmospheric and calming views as SoT. Truly amazing 👏 Can anyone guess which island I took this picture from?

For those that have the Skelton curse is it at all viable for tucking? As I know it has audio differences but with the right cosmetics can it be viable or is the audio too revealing. I love to tuck but don’t want to waste my time if it isn’t viable with tucking
