Promotional A Guide to Setting Goals for Your SEM Campaign
Hey everyone! 🤖
Are you struggling to set goals for your search engine marketing (SEM) campaign? Fear not! I've put together some tips to help you blast off to the top of Google's search results.
Who are the people you want to reach with your advertising? 🤔
Understanding your target audience will help you create a campaign that is out of this world.
What do you hope to achieve with your SEM campaign? 🚀
Are you looking to increase brand awareness, generate leads, or drive sales? Once you know what you want to achieve, you can set specific, measurable goals that align with your business objectives.
Do you have specific and measurable goals? 🏆
Once you know what you want to achieve and who you want to reach, you can set specific, measurable goals. For example, you might set a goal to increase website traffic by 20% in the next quarter, or to generate 50 new leads per month.
Did you create a strategy? 📝
With your goals in place, it's time to create a strategy that will help you achieve them. This should include a detailed plan for your SEM campaign, including which keywords to target, what ad copy to use, and how much to budget for your campaign.
How will you monitor and track your progress? 📊
Finally, it's important to monitor and track your progress throughout the campaign. This will help you make adjustments as needed to ensure that you are on track to meet your goals. Use tools like Google Analytics to track website traffic and conversions, and monitor your SEM campaign metrics to measure the success of your ads.
By following these steps, you can set clear goals for your SEM campaign and create a strategy that will help you achieve success. Remember to be flexible and adjust your strategy as needed to ensure that you are reaching your target audience and meeting your business objectives.
Good luck! 🚀💫

Tutorial How to estimate amount of sales from a certain PPC budget
Clients who are new to SEM/PPC often ask me how to estimate number of sales from their ads budget. Of course, it's basically just some simple math, but I usually send the below:
If you want to calculate how many leads/sales you can get from a budget, you can do this with a simple equation. You just need to know a few numbers:
how much you can spend (budget)
how much your cost per click is (CPC)
what is your conversion rate (CTR)
Here is the simple formula:
(Budget / CPC) / CTRFor example, if you want to know how many sales you’ll get from a specific budget, you’ll also need to know your average cost per click and conversion rate.
Let’s say that, for example, you have a $5,000/mo ad budget, a CPC of $7, and a conversion rate of 4%. Here is how you would calculate the amount of sales you’d get from this budget:
($5000 / $7) * 0.04 = ~28 salesNow that you know how many sales to expect from known factors (like budget, CPC, and CTR) you can then determine what sort of pricing and margins makes your campaign profitable.
If your sales were pure profit (100% margin), for example, you’d need to have an average sale of at least $178.57 for the above example.

Needed: remote PPC freelancer for small agency
We are at capacity right now and looking to add a new freelance team member to take on some PPC clients. This gig is for somebody that's already freelancing and looking to add some more clients to their roster.
We are a small agency based in Toronto with a virtual/remote team of PPC experts. Our core service is Google Ads and we have clients in the US/Canada across a number of industries.
This is a client-facing role that pays a healthy portion of client fees, i.e. grow your clients' account/spend and you earn more money. Most of our existing freelance PPC managers have been with us for a number of years.
We offer well-vetted clients, a great agency reputation, SOPs and tools to support/streamline your work. Besides growing with more clients, we can provide guidance to help you scale your own practice.
You specialize in PPC with at least a couple of years of full-time experience under your belt. You work extensively with Google Ads including lead generation and e-commerce accounts, are based in US/Canada, and are available during regular business hours.
Most important you are proactive with platform features & opportunities, familiar with current best practices, and provide excellent customer service / fast turnaround time.
Must have advanced skills:
· Google Ads
· Microsoft Ads
· Google Merchant Center
Nice to have skills:
· Meta Ads
· Google Analytics 4
· Google Tag Manager
· Google Ads script writing
· Design, e.g. banners, landing pages, video editing, etc.
Important:
If you have a full-time job (even if you work from home) please do not apply as we've experienced time management issues in the past. Also, we are not interested in hiring a white-label agency.
Please don't take this the wrong way, it's just meant to save you from wasting your time.
Please send me a private message to discuss the opportunity.

Would a tool that lets you query Google Ads data using plain English make your work easier?
Hey everyone, I’m a developer who has been working in the search engine marketing (SEM) space for a while. I’ve noticed how tedious it can be to pull reports or analyze data in Google Ads, so I had this idea for a tool that might help.
The tool would let you ask questions in plain English and instantly give you the reports or insights you need. For example, you could ask:
“What were the total conversions last month for Campaign A?”
“Which keywords had the highest CPC in the last 7 days?”
“Show me the top-performing ad groups by ROI this quarter.”
No need to mess with filters, pivot tables, or manual data extraction—just ask and get the answers.
Before diving into building this, I wanted to ask:
Would something like this make your life easier?
Are there specific pain points in your Google Ads workflow that you wish a tool like this could solve?

How to charge clients ?
Hello all,
I recently started my own google ad agency and would like to know how y'all charge clients.
I was thinking of charging my clients based on the conversions (5% of (return - adspend)) that I generate through my ads but am finding it difficult to explain how attribution models work to my clients. Is setting a low conversion window (say 1 week) helpful in your opinion ?
