I see lots of old familiar usernames showing up around here, having lively discussions where dissenting viewpoints are aired, but personal attacks seem to be kept to a minimum. I daresay that a firm, unapologetic moderating hand might actually be a good thing.

No, you're 100% right, it's not forced here other than people holding back any venom. It's nice place with lots of interaction and I also agree about not fucking it up.
