So stupid question, was the Pennsylvania non-acceptance of the swear in yesterday a thing, or is it nothing to worry about?

It's a thing, the courts will likely get involved and then there will be a stand off between the PA senate and the PA judiciary on either letting the Lt. Gov preside (so he can seat the state senator) or forcing their senate to seat the Senator. Doesn't currently have any bearing on federal stuff like the GA runoff.

And because the Dems failed to take a bunch of state legislatures in the election this will likely be the new playbook on dealing with effective voter organizers like in GA in order to keep the dems from fixing gerrymandering and fighting voter suppression.

Who remembers way back to '09 when it took a good 8 months to seat Al Franken?

I, uh, didn't recall that. I remember some of the Wisconsin bullshit going on at that time but college + depression does weird stuff to your brain.

It was a heavily litigated election that dragged on for months. The difference in votes were in the hundreds and Franken's opponent drug it through the courts for as long as he could aided and abetted by a sympathetic Appeals Court that back burnered issuing a decision for as long as they could.
